One Piece world: Luffy X Reader (AU)

One night you got on your computer and started watching One Piece but at some point in the show you fell asleep. You woke up to someone poking your cheek, you groan but slowly open your eyes. When you opened your eyes you saw a smiling face and you just laid there for a couple of seconds until you registered who was in front of you. Your eyes widened and you bolted straight up which made you end up on the floor. The person with the straw hat looked over the side of the bed.

"Are you ok?" The boy with the straw hat asked looking at you.

"Y-yea" You said getting off the ground.

"Good..... by the way who are you?" The boy asked

"(Y/N)" You said

'It can't be him right?' You thought as you sat on your bed and looked at the boy.

"Nice to meet you (Y/N) my names Monkey D. Luffy the man who will become the King of the Pirates" Luffy said with his normal grin and your eyes widen.

'It is him!' You thought internally freaking out that your favorite One Piece character is right in front of you. 

"Oh by the way sorry about the mess" He said and you looked at him confused.

"What mes-" You stopped mid sentence as you looked around the now messy room.

'How did that not wake me up!' You thought as you sighed and started picking the stuff up.

"Its ok Luffy" You said putting the stuff back where they belonged.

"Hey (Y/N)?" Luffy says and you look up at him to see him looking around confused. You hum in response and go back to cleaning.

"Where are we? How did I get here?" He asked making you look back up at him.

"We are in (C/N) and I don't know how you got here actually" You say putting the last thing where it needs to be and sit by Luffy as you hear his stomach growl.

"You hungry?" You ask and he nods his head saying "meat" which you laugh to as you stand up and head to your kitchen and grab some meat. When you turn around you come face to face with Luffy which makes you blush and look away.

"H-here you go Luffy" You say handing Luffy the meat and still not looking at him. He frowns as he takes the meat but you don't notice.

"Hey (Y/N) are you sick? Your face is red" He said sitting down and eating the meat and you shake your head.

"No I'm fine Luffy thanks for worrying though" You say with a small smile as Luffy just shrugs and goes back to eating.

'Hes so innocent' You thought as you go and sit by Luffy.

"So Luffy do you remember anything from before you came here?" You asked as you look at Luffy and see hes already done with the meat.

"The last thing I remember is getting sent flying by that bear guy and landing on Amazon Lily then meeting Hamock" Luffy said and you laughed at what he calls Kuma and Hancock.

"You mean Kuma and Hancock Luffy" You say and he nods his head.

"Do you know them?" He asks and you freeze. How where you supposed to answer that?

"I guess so but not much" You said looking away and spot your computer then it all clicks and you whip your head back towards Luffy.

"Hey Luffy! I think I just figured out how you got here!" You say and Luffy beams at that information.

"Really?! So do you know a way to get back?!" He asks jumping around.

"I think I might have an idea but I'm not positive it will work" You said as you stand up and head towards your computer until Luffy turned you around to face him.

"(Y/N)" Luffy said with a serious and determined face.

"Y-yea Luffy?" You said with a blush on your face.

"Do you want to come with me and join my crew?" Luffy asked and you just looked at him shocked but then looked down sadly.

"But I don't have any special talents or skills or anything I'm just....... a normal girl and would just be useless." You said sadly still looking at the floor.

"So what we're friends right?" Luffy said which made you gasp and look up at him and see him smiling brightly down at you. You calmed down and gave him a small smile.

"Yea" You said as he let you go and you started walking to your computer.

'I can't go with him I would just be useless, just cause trouble, and I can't even protect myself.' You thought and frowned as you opened your computer.

"Hey (Y/N) is there something wrong?" Luffy asked putting a hand on your shoulder making you jump.

"No I'm fine Luffy" You said as you looked up at him and gave him a smile before looking back at your computer. You opened up to the episode Luffy described but nothing happened.

"Maybe I was wrong" You thought out loud before Luffy touched the computer screen and it started to glow and pull him in. He grabbed your hand which shocked you and you pulled back a little but he had a strong grip on your wrist.

"Come on (Y/N)" Luffy said with his normal smile but you frowned.

"But I will just cause trouble and get in everyone's way.... I can't even protect myself!" You said tears pricking at the corner of your eyes but Luffys smile never faded.

"You won't cause trouble or get in our way and I will just protect you then so lets go" Luffy said smile wider than before and that was all you needed as you nodded your head and smiled at him as you both jumped into your computer to the One Piece world.

(A/N)- 

Sorry if your not a girl and if hes not your favorite character. How did I do this is my first time writing a story like this. My friend says that I should make a second part of this in the One Piece world what do you guys think?
