No matter what: Werewolf Smoker X Reader

Day 6 out of 7 days of the Halloween week

He was our gym teacher. He was nice, kind, and caring at least to me. He understood me. We were really close, we talked all the time, we had/made great memories together, I even grew feelings for him but I knew he wouldn't feel the same, like me back. But I still wanted to tell him after graduation, which was close. Until one day I was attacked, I think his name was Doflamingo and some other guys, and he came to save me. During the fight they all turned into werewolves and to say the least I was shocked. When the fight was over he looked at me still in my shocked state and then ran away. That's when I knew I loved him, no matter what he is, even if he was a werewolf. After a couple more seconds of being shocked I stood up and yelled for him,

"SMOKER!" With tears running down my face. I was crying. He never came back, he didn't respond and that were my adventure begins. I ran home and got ready to go to sleep hoping Smoker would be at school tomorrow and then I could talk to him about what happened. But luck wasn't on my side for Smoker wasn't there. When I had got to his office Tashigi came out looking sad. When she saw me she gave me an apologetic smile.

"Hey (Y/N), sorry but Smoker's not here and hes not coming back." She said and walked away. I stood there in shock but snapped out of it when the bell went off. I ran to class hoping Smoker would be back later this week. This week was the last week before graduation. But again luck wasn't on my side. The day of graduation came around and he never came back and I was so sad, I never got to confess to him. Robin then came up to me with something in her hand.

"He never came back huh?" She asked and I shook my head sadly.

"No, so now I don't know what to do." I sighed sadly and I feel a soft hand touch my shoulder and I look over at Robin to see her smiling softly at me.

"Here take this. I made it for you." She said giving me a drawing of Smoker. I gasp and slowly take it from her with a smile.

"Thanks Robin." I said while giving her a hug.

"Yep. I bet everything will work out for you." Robin said smiling as we pulled away and I nodded tightly holding onto the drawing.

-Timeskip-

"You know you don't have to rush into anything. You can take a year off. Maybe go on a vacation." My mom suggested which gave me an idea.

"Yes! That's it! Thanks mom!" I yelled going over and hugging her before quickly packing some things.

"Uh... Yea... Sure hunny." She said confused with a sweat drop before walking out of my room as I continued to pack. When I was done packing I put my stuff in my car and grabbed the keys and saying bye to my family as I left. I stopped at my friend, Franky, place and he gave me some weapons after I explained to him what I though, I tried to pay for the weapons but he wouldn't let me. I started driving again but stopped when I got to a different town which wasn't to far away and asked around for Smoker. Someone told me the direction he went in but knew nothing else. I went to my car but it looks like the one who attacked me a week ago, Doflamingo, was already at my car. I sighed and went to my trunk and opened it. I got all my stuff and then handed him my keys and left. I continued on my way until I ran into someone.

"Hello are you ok?" I asked the male that was laying on the ground. When I got no response I bent down and poked his cheek. He then woke up and grabbed my wrist.

"Who are you and what do you want?" He hissed as I tried to free my wrist but to no avail.

"I'm (Y/N) and I was just making sure you were alright. Who are you?" I asked. He let go of my wrist and got up.

"Law" He said and I nodded. We both had just stood up when I heard something. I didn't wait to find out what it was as I grabbed Law's hand and started running. When I stooped and looked back and saw nothing I looked over at Law who was already looking at me.

"What was that for?!" He yelled and I calmly replied,

"I heard something and didn't want to take an chance and I wasn't going to just leave you there." Law glared at me.

"I can take care of myself" He said and I just nodded and started walking off until I turned back to him.

"You coming?" I asked and he just huffed and started walking towards me.

"Whatever" He mumbled walking past me and then we continued on my journey with Law tagging along.

-Timeskip-

Law and I had walked for a long time and we became really close. But then I found out that he was a werewolf as well and just like Smoker he had run away. So again I was on my own. But not for long as another werewolf came to me.

"You must be her!" He said cheerfully and I looked at him confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked and he transformed into a human with a giant grin.

"The one Smokey left behind! I'm Luffy by the way" He said as his stomach grumbled and I laughed as I took off my bag and got some meat out and gave it to Luffy with a smile.

"(Y/N)" I said as he took the meat and ate it in one bite.

"You want to get to Smokey right? If you ride on me then we can get to him fast!" Luffy said as he transformed into a werewolf again. I grinned and nodded as I put m backpack back on and climbed on his back and grabbed onto his fur. Luffy took off running and eventually we both got to a clearing in the woods were Smoker and Doflamingo were. I jumped off of Luffy but before anything could happen Law appeared and took Doflamingo and ran off to take care of him along with Luffy, well after Luffy pushed Smoker into me, Smoker looked at me surprised.

"What are you doing here! I-" Before Smoker could finish I cut him off.

"I went through so much to get here and tell you something so just listen," I stated and Smoker nodded and so I continued, " I came here and delt with so much danger to tell you how I feel. Something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time.... I love you" I said looking straight into Smoker's wide eyes. Smoker's eyes soften as he looked at me.

"I love you too" He said as we kissed. After a while the need of air was to much and over powering and we had to pull apart, slightly panting.

"Doflamingo's taken care of he won't be able to danger you anymore" Law said appearing out of no where as I turned and looked at him with a smile.

"Thanks Law" I said and he nodded before disappearing again.

"So what now?" Smoker asked making me look back at him and I shrugged with a sheepish smile.

"I don't know... I didn't think that far... but as long as I'm with you I don't what we do or what happens." I said as I smiled at him.

"I agree" He said as he kissed me again.
