I wake up this morning and realize it isn't as sunny as usual. It is cloudy and looks like it is going to rain. I walk out of the tent. I start walking directly towards the river. I really do not want to run into my dad. I don't want to talk about last night. My dad will be really mad at me if I tell him what happened. As I come up to the river bank where I am hoping to bathe, I see him. That boy again, but instead of being fully dressed, he is shirtless. I have to admit, he did look pretty good. What in the world are you thinking Kierra? Are you crazy? Maybe, just a little. He looks so handsome without his shirt. Stop it Kierra! He is obviously a Magestee and I'm a Nobudee. It is pretty much illegal for me and him to have a chance together. It's not illegal by law, but in this society it is something that just does not happen. There would be so many problems with it. I mean our lifestyles are just so different.

"Hey. It's you again." Calls a familiar voice.

I look up to see it is the boy speaking to me. This is going to be awkward. How do I talk to someone who found me in the trash bin? Although I guess it is my fault for speaking. I mentioned he is a Magestee. They are the highest system in Indira. Their 'colonies' are made of their immediate family as they have enough money to live separately. They live in all the big houses and mansions. I mean, the prince lives in a castle. They are technologically advanced unlike the rest of us. The Magestees have millions of dollars to spend on feasts and luxury. I wish they would use some of that money to help us Nobudees.

I reply, "I could say the same to you."

"What are you doing over here?" He asks me.

"I was going to take a bath. I should be asking you why you are here. I mean you're a Magestee, don't you have a big, fancy bathroom at home? I mean you are related to the prince."

He replies to me while laughing, "You think... him and I... are related? That is too funny."

He laughs even louder. I give him an angry look. What was so funny?

"I'm sorry. We are just friends and yes, I do have a big, fancy bathroom."

All of a sudden I hear my father shout, "Kierra! Where are you?"

Scared, I turn away from the boy and run off. I want to avoid my father so he will not ask about last night or this morning. The boy tries to stop me. I just keep running. Now this boy will know my name, but I can not think about that at the moment. Where could I go spend the day? Maybe my friend will be free. My friend is named Nakayla Davidson. Nakayla is a Wanna-bee. They are the middle system. The Wanna-bees are at a line where they can almost be Magestees, but it is impossible. They are better off than us since they have enough money to suffice. The majority of the population of Indira are Wanna-bees. Their 'colonies' are made up of their family. They live in small houses and it can be cramped, but that is just how they live.

I figure I will head over there. I know a shortcut to her house, so I don't have to go through town and risk running into that boy. Although I guess he is still at the river. It takes me awhile to get to her house, since there is no other way for me to get there without walking. I approach her house and see she is outside. Nakayla is wearing normal clothing, not worn or fancy as she is a Wanna-bee. She is clean and has good health and hygiene as she should. Nakayla is perfect, nothing to make her unliked by anyone. Even her physical appearance is like no other. Her hair is short and medium brown. It brings out her green eyes so well. Her hair has a soft tone about it, maybe that is caused by the straightness of it. Her skin is fair. She is so much prettier than me. Sometimes I am even jealous of her. Is it a bad thing to be jealous of my best friend? Probably so.

As I look closer, I realize that she is talking to someone. I walk a little closer and realize that it is that boy. I am going to go home, but then Nakayla sees me.
