(Fluffyillness) Scott is sick, and his boys help him feel better.
****
"I wonder how long he was going to last without telling us he's sick," Mason speaks up as he and Mark walk up to Scott and Mitch's house. They had just got a phone call from Mitch, learning from him that Scott is sick. Mitch isn't home at the moment so he asked Mark and Mason to look after Scott.
"Well, Mitch isn't going to be home for three days," Mark adds.
"That's true," Mason unlocks the door with the extra key Scott had given them a few months ago.
"My poor baby is sick and we can't have that. You go find Scott and I'll get him the medicine? Lord knows he hasn't been taking care of himself. You know how he gets when he's sick," Mark says.
Mason chuckles. "Yeah, I know," he kisses Mark's cheek before heading into the house to find Scott.
Mark smiles before heading to the kitchen to find medicine for Scott.
Mason heads up to Scott's bedroom after not being able to find him anywhere else downstairs. He makes his way to Scott's bedroom and slowly pushes the door open. He looks up and frowns instantly when he sees Scott laid out on his bed on his stomach, his arms and legs stretched out out.
Scott coughs a few times and then he curls up into his blanket, mumbling something that Mason couldn't quite understood but he's pretty sure there were a few curse words thrown around.
"Baby?" Mason finally speaks, walking further into the bedroom.
Scott jumps at the sudden voice and looks over, though he's too exhausted to move a muscle.
Mason walks over to the bed and slides in next to Scott. "Baby, why didn't you tell us that you were sick?" He gently wraps his arms around Scott and pulls him closer to his body.
Scott whines at the movement, and then he lays his head on Mason's lap, rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"My poor baby," Mason frowns. He reaches over and grabs the blanket Scott had been using previously and goes to cover Scott with it, but stops when Scott shakes his head.
"No! No blanket! It's hot!" Scott complains as he kicks the blanket off dramatically.
"Shit, Scott. You're burning up," Mason says after feeling Scott's forehead with the back of his hand.
"I'm dying!" Scott groans before rolling onto his back and coughing a few more times.
Mason laughs and shakes his head at his boyfriend. "You're being dramatic princess," he says. "I'm sure you'll be fine in a few days. You just gotta take care of yourself is all," he says. "Mark and I will be here from now on to take care of you." Mason looks up when he hears footsteps and smiles when he sees Mark walking up the stairs with medicine and a glass of water in his hands. "Speak of the devil."
"Hey," Mark pouts and walks into the room. He looks over at Scott and chuckles. "I bring gifts."
"Why do I have a feeling I'm not going to like these gifts?" Scott asks, his voice hoarse from coughing and not using it all day. He glances over at Mark and he can't help but smile a little. He's very happy to see his two boyfriends, especially after being gone for a couple of days with doing Pentatonix stuff, but he's also not looking forward to having to take the medicine. He hates taking medicine. Then again, who doesn't?
"I know, I know. Medicine is gross. But, you'll be thanking me in the long run," Mark walks over to Scott's other side and sits down. "You probably just have a really bad cold. Let's just hope that it's not that really bad stomach bug that's been going around. Everybody seems to be having that lately."
"I don't think it's that extreme, otherwise Scott would probably be sitting in front of the toilet right now," Mason points out. "He might have a fever, but that's it. If it doesn't get better after today and it gets worse then we'll take him to the hospital and see what's wrong. Sit up, Scotty. You gotta take your medicine."
Scott groans and tries to bury his face in Mason's lap again. "No," he protests.
Mason laughs and grabs a hold of Scott, and manages to pull him up in sitting position. "There," he says.
"Say ahh," Mark says as he holds the medicine cap up.
Scott pouts before finally opening his mouth, allowing Mark to give him the medicine. "Ew!" He whines. "That's gross. Medicine tastes so nasty." He shakes his head in disgust.
Mark chuckles and hands Scott the glass of water. "Medicine isn't supposed to taste good," he says.
Scott sighs and leans against Mason. "I hate being sick," he mumbles.
"Nobody likes being sick," Mason whispers as he gently rubs Scott's arm. "You'll feel better in a few days."
Scott looks up at Mason. "Promise?" He asks, sitting up a little.
"I promise," Mason says. "I mean, you've got two people looking after you. So, at least one of the two of us should be able to make you feel better. Right?" He chuckles.
"True, so if I don't get better, then I'll have two people to blame," Scott grins.
Mason rolls his eyes and chuckles. "That's not what I meant, but okay. Whatever helps," he says.
"I say... we put in a movie and cuddle for the rest of the day," Mark suggests, standing up.
"God, that sounds really fucking nice," Scott huffs before falling onto his back again.
"What movie do you wanna watch, Scotty? Don't answer that. I already know what you're gonna say,"
"Jurassic Park," Mark and Mason say at the same time, Mason laughing when Scott shoves him.
"I'm literally being bullied right now while I'm sick," Scott pouts.
Thank God Scott has his boys to make him feel better, even when he's feeling like absolute shit.
Three days pass quickly and Scott is feeling better, much better, by the time Mitch gets home.
"I take it your feeling better," Mitch raises his eyebrows when he walks into the house and sees Scott walking around. He looks better and he's got a smile on his face. Mark and Mason are there as well.
"Mitchy!" Scott runs over and hugs the smaller boy. "I can hug you now! I'm not sick anymore!"
Mitch laughs as he hugs Scott back. "You're cute," he says. "I'm glad you're feeling better."
"I am. Mark and Mason took care of me," Scott smiles.
"You're welcome. I'm the one that had to call them and tell them that you were sick," Mitch rolls his eyes.
"I was dying, okay? Calling anyone to tell them that I was sick was the last thing on my mind," Scott huffs and walks back over to the couch and plops down next to Mason to cuddle him.
Mitch smiles. "Well, it's good that you're feeling better because we've got Superfruit videos to film,"
Scott whines and hides his face in Mason's chest. "I'm just kidding. I'm still sick. See?" He fake coughs.
Mason laughs and wraps his arm around Scott's shoulder. "Back to work, babe," he says.
