(Fluff) Mark misses one-on-one quality time with Scott. But, now that Scott's busy again with touring, it's hard for them to find any quality time together. However, Mark realizes that life on the road with Scott isn't that bad.

"I thought you said we would be able to spend more time together after the summer tour?"
"We did spend more time together," Scott frowns as he looks over at his boyfriend.
"Yeah, for like two weeks. Now you're leaving again," Mark argues, crossing his arms against his chest. "I'm really proud of you. I always am. I'm just... I don't know. Forget I said anything."
"No, come on. Talk to me Mark," Scott scoots closer to his boyfriend, wrapping an arm around him.
Mark takes a deep breath. "I'm worried about our relationship," he admits.
"But, why?" Scott asks, biting his lip nervously. "We've been together almost two years now, Mark. Sure, things have been tough with how busy things have been with my schedule. We've always made it work. We've always made time for each other. Besides, you said that you would be able to come to more shows this tour now that you aren't working at amazon anymore. It shouldn't be a problem."
"I know, and I'll be able to go to most of the shows. But, you're still working," Mark frowns.
"Are you really that worried? You should have said something to me sooner," Scott says.
"And what exactly should I have said?" Mark asks, looking at Scott. "What could I have said to you that didn't make me sound selfish? I don't want to take you away from your job, Scott."
"But, I don't want our relationship to fall apart. Not after everything we've been through," Scott says. "Please, Marky? Let's just... finish this Christmas tour. It's not as long as the summer tour was, at least. Then, we'll have Christmas and we'll be able to spend at least a couple weeks together."
"Actually? You promise me that you'll take a real break after tours over? That means no background work. I know you're a workaholic. All I'm asking is for a couple weeks of quality time with you," he says.
"I promise," Scott leans over and kisses Mark. "I love you."
"I love you too," Mark whispers, turning and burying his face in Scott's chest.
Scott chuckles and wraps an arm around Mark, pulling him closer. "At least we have time now," he says.
Mark squeezes Scott tightly. "You're not going anywhere," he mumbles.
"God, you're so fucking cute," Scott leans down and gently kisses Mark's forehead. "I'm all yours."
Mark hesitates slightly before looking up at Scott. "All mine?"
"Of course. You know I am," Scott leans down and then kisses Mark on the lips once more.
Mark has always travelled with Scott whenever he goes on tour, but now that he's not working anymore, he's able to go with Scott on pretty much every tour stop. It's nice, because he hates being home alone without Scott. Of course he has friends he can hang out with, but... he'd much rather be with Scott.
Mark surprisingly doesn't mind the tour life. He's always given props to Scott and the other members of PTX for being able to do this for so many years. They hardly get any time off, yet they're still happy and love performing for their fans. It never gets old for them, even after doing this for nearly seven years.
"Mark," Scott whispers as he shakes the sleeping boy beside him.
"Mhm," Mark mumbles, trying to cover his face with the blanket.
Scott chuckles and he rolls his eyes when Mark refuses to wake up, although they did have a late night last night so he doesn't blame him for not wanting to get up. "That's fine. I'm sure Kirstie won't mind me spending our whole day off with her." He says, reaching over to grab his phone.
Mark slowly pulls the blanket down, only peeking his eyes out. "Day off?"
Scott looks over at Mark and smiles. "You heard me," he says. "We have a day off today."
"Can we spend the day cuddling all day?" Mark asks, turning so that he's snuggling into Scott's lap.
"That does sound nice," Scott says, gently running his hand through Mark's hair. "But, I think that it would be more fun if we went out and did other stuff together. Day offs during Christmas time is rare, you know."
"Okay, okay, okay. I'm up," Mark says, slowly pushing himself up.
Scott chuckles. "Did you sleep well?" He asks.
"Actually... yes," Mark replies, looking up at Scott with a smile.
"That's good," Scott leans over and kisses him. "Want something to eat?" He stands up.
"Mhm. Food sounds good. I don't care what we get... I just want some food," Mark tells him.
After getting some much needed breakfast, Scott and Mark decide to go out on their own for a little bit and explore the city of Chicago. However, surprisingly, Mark's favorite part of the day is cuddling on the tour bus with Scott and playing their favorite video games without worrying about Scott's schedule interrupting them. Mark doesn't even mind when Kirstie and Matt join them.
"Did you have fun today?" Scott asks at night. "I know it wasn't the most exciting..."
Mark instantly looks up at Scott. "I had a great time with you today, Scott. I got to spend time with you. Honestly, being on the road isn't that bad. We do still spend time together, and... I'm very grateful for that. I guess I just missed spending one-on-one time with you is all. I still shouldn't be complaining."
"Stop, your feelings are valid, and I'm not upset with you for feeling that way. I understand," Scott says, sighing softly as he pulls Mark closer. "I know this life isn't easy sometimes. But, we make it work. I'm just lucky that I have someone as patient as you with me. No one else would put up with my busy schedule."
"Those people don't deserve you," Mark huffs. "I love you, and not even a busy schedule can stop me from being with you. Besides, I can never complain about travelling the world with my best friend."
