Scott and Mitch told their parents that they were dating, when they really weren't. They've been seeing other people, but Connie doesn't know that. You wouldn't believe how she felt when she saw pictures of Mitch with another guy that isn't Scott.

Telling their parents that they were dating when they really weren't, probably wasn't the best idea.
In Scott's defense, he had no idea that he was going to end up with two boyfriends.
The reason they even told their parents that he and Mitch were dating is because they would constantly ask about boyfriends. Of course, they just wanted happiness for Scott and Mitch. Scott kept running out of excuses of why he didn't have a boyfriend. Mitch agreed to telling their parents, feeling the same way.
Now, it's been two years since they've told their parents that they were dating. Scott has two boyfriends, Mark and Mason. Mitch has been in the dating scene recently, wanting to find an actual boyfriend.
Things were going well so far, with the two of them seeing other people.
Mark and Mason were totally understanding about the fake relationship, though it was hard sometimes. They were starting to post more pictures and instagram stories with Scott. Fans were starting to recognizing them more and were even speculating that the three were dating.
However, one slip up seem to cause everything to go haywire for Scott and Mitch.
Scott received a frantic call from his mom one Saturday afternoon.
"Mom! Mom, what's going on?" Scott asks, glancing over at Mark and Mason cuddling on the bed. Scott's been songwriting for future Superfruit and Pentatonix music for a bit while his boys were hanging out. Even though they haven't been saying anything to each other, he just loves having their presence.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I had to call you right away-"
"Mom, calm down. What is it? Is dad okay?" Scott asks worriedly.
"Dad is fine. It's not him. I-It's Mitch," Connie says, taking a deep breath.
"Mitch?" Scott frowns. "What about him? I was just talking to him earlier-"
"Yeah, but what about last night?" Connie snaps. "He was with another boy! I saw the instagram stories. They were all over each other and dancing. It was disgusting. I didn't think Mitch was someone like that."
"Oh, shit-" Scott curses. Why couldn't Mitch have been more careful? "Mom, listen to me-"
"Scott, you're not going to let him get away with this, are you?" Connie asks.
"Well, can you at least tell me if he was kissing this... boy, in any of the videos you saw?" Scott asks.
"Well, no... but he should not have been-!"
"Mom-" Scott laughs. "I don't care that he was dancing with another boy. I dance with my friends like that all the time and Mitch doesn't have a problem with it. But, if it makes you feel better... I'll talk to him."
"I'm sorry... I just got worried," Connie laughs nervously.
After talking to his mom for a few more minutes, Scott finally hangs up on her.
Scott sets his phone down on the desk and groans, running a hand over his face.
Mark and Mason glance at each other, and then Mark sits up and crawls to the end of the bed. "Scott? You okay, princess?" He asks, placing a hand on Scott's shoulder.
"I'm fine," Scott turns and looks at Mark. "It's just... this thing with Mitch... it's making things complicated."
"Have you talked to Mitch about this?" Mark asks.
