The first thing Justin saw when he arrived to the new dimension was a notebook and a phone pressed to his ear. He stared at the writing, his writing, before snapping back to the conversation on the mobile device.

"So, Justin, you'll be here for your father's party, right? You'll meet Clarissa's friends," a femenine voice said. His mother.

"Uh... yeah. I'm wrapping up this project before leaving," the redhead answered. He bid his goodbyes, hanging up. He took a look at his notebook again, noticing he knew exactly what he was writing about.

He continued writing, the words coming quite easily for him, due to already cursed that class on his normal dimension. He noticed the clock, hurrying to take a suit he apparently bought for the party. He packed it up adn exited the room, his dorm and started his journey to his home.

When he enteres the house, he saw a bald man showing him his back. "Honey, were's my hat?" The man said. When he turned around, Justin's eyes widened. Valentine.

"Oh, son. You made it, welcome." The redhead was frozen on his spot, not being able to move. Valentine walked forward and pulled his son into a hug. Justin let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, wrapping his arms around his father.

This was probably one of the only time he has ever recieved a hug from one of his parents, not actually being to keen with human touch, but remebering he needs to act like the Justin of this dimension. "Uh, yeah, I told mom I as coming."

The party was full on, Justin feeling uncomfortable there, not being in his comfort zone. He was not a big fan of parties. Justin saw his sister and hurried to her. "Clary?"

The girl turned around and her eyes widen in surprise. "Justin, finally. Where were you?" Clary asked him. "Apparently studying. I'm here now, where's the Portal?" Justin answered.

"In the subbasment. Magnus is coming to help us," Clary responded. Justin nodded and looked around him. His eyes landed on his parents. It was weird seeing them together, you knoe with Valentine kidnapping his mother on his dimension.

"May I?" A familiar voice said. The older Fairchild turned and saw Jace there. "Oh, this is your brother? I'm Jace, Clary's boyfriend," the blond introduced. "Justin," he answered, shaking his hand.

The boy excused himself, leaving the couple alone, but not before sending Clary a look trlling her to get him when they were going to open the Portal.

Justin wondered the room, feeling finally at peace. Nothing to worry about, just meeting newbpeople and being sociable. This is just one party before going back to schoo-

Justin snapped out of his tboughts, getting a grip of himself before this Justin could consume him. A figure approached him, and Justin saw a very well, colorful dressed Alec Lightwood in front of him.

"You must be Clary's brother, Justin. I'm Alec." Justin's jaw almost dropped open at how straightforward this Alec was. "Yes, I'm Justin."

Alec ran his eyes all over the smaller boy in front of him, a small smile makimg it's way to his face. Justin was confused and slightly amused. This Alec was pretty confident and apparebtly wasn't afraid to show his real self.

Alec took two cups from one of the waitresses, offering one to Justin, who took it. "To us," Alec toasted. The both drank a sip of it, not taking their eyes off of each other. Justin looked to his right, seeing a normal dressed Magnus Bane fighting at the entrance.
