"You look absolutely stunning," Brian says when I step out of the bathroom. I have on my old vibrant purple prom dress, and it fits even better than it did two years ago. My light brown hair is curled and frames my face perfectly. Even I think I look good, and that's a first.
"Why, thank you." I take his hand. "And you look very handsome." So we're going to pretend this morning never happened or what?
"It's all because you helped me pick the best suit." He pecks my cheek. "Our dinner reservation is for six o'clock. We should get going." He links arms with mine. No matter what you do, you're still an asshole.

"This place is...wow," I say. I have no words to describe how ornate and fancy the restaurant is. The walls are covered with dark wood and the miniature chandeliers on the ceiling give off a subtle golden glow which make the place feel romantic. In one corner is a bar, probably the most elegant looking bar I've ever seen. Everyone is dressed to the nines, including us, and I feel like a princess. If only Harry were my prince.
"According to the internet this is the fanciest restaurant in the London area," Brian tells me. I ignore him because I notice there are five nicely dressed boys making their way to the bar. If they see me, this whole date will be ruined. Brian leads me to the hostess stand so he can check in. And keep an eye on me.
"There's a short wait," I hear the hostess say. "You are a few minutes early, so if you can patiently wait for your table, that would be great."
"Alright. Thank you." Brian takes the buzzer from the hostess and leads me back towards the entrance. There is a long bench by the front door, and there are already people sitting on it. There's little bit of room left so I take a seat. Brian stays standing and pulls his phone out of his pocket. He tosses the buzzer to me.
"My golly," a man says, walking up to me. "I never thought I would see you again." I take a closer look and realize it's Liam. I glance at Brian and he's too busy staring at his phone to notice anything, so I figure it's okay for me to speak.
"It's been a while, hasn't it?" I stand up and give him a hug. While I was dating Harry, I became super close with the rest of the boys. They were like my second family, but when I ended things with Harry, I lost contact with all of them.
"So what brings you to London?" Liam asks.
"I'm actually here with my boyfriend to celebrate our one year and six month anniversary."
"Wow, that's incredible. Congrats."
"Yeah, not--"
"Sabrina, who is this?" I glare at Brian.
"This is my friend," I say through gritted teeth.
"I see you have a lot of male friends. What's your name?" He crosses his arms and looks at Liam.
"Liam Payne," Liam answers. "And I assume you're Sabrina's boyfriend." Liam seems unphased by him, which gives me a sense of relief.
"That's right." Brian puts an arm around me. "We've been together for exactly a year and a half today."
"So I've heard," Liam mumbles. I give him an 'I'm sorry' look. "I should leave you two alone now. Maybe I'll see you later." He rejoins the boys. Great, just great.
"Really?" I say to Brian. "I haven't seen him in forever and now you scare him off. I'm allowed to friends that are guys." The buzzer starts buzzing in my hand.
"Yeah, but he looked creepy." We go to the hostess stand and are immediately seated. If only you knew that was Liam Payne from One Direction. Would you be scaring off my famous friends then?
"He does not look creepy." I sip my water, which is in a real wine glass.
"Yes he does. With that beard and everything...ick." He starts looking through the menu. I want to get up and leave, but then he'll be especially pissed and I don't want another trip to the dentist.
"You're still talking bad about my friend," I warn him again. Where is Harry? I want to see Harry.
"You know, drop it. Let's just eat in peace and enjoy the night." The waiter comes by to take our order. I order pasta primavera and Brian orders the filet mignon. I already know the bill for tonight is going to be huge.
"Where are the restrooms?" I ask Brian. For once he doesn't have his phone out.
"I think I saw them by the front," he says.
"Okay." I make my way back to the front of the restaurant and, like every other place, the women's restroom has a line. I look around, taking in the decor, to keep myself busy. As I'm looking around, I make eye contact with Harry. It's awkward and uncomfortable, but I can't take my eyes off him. He's so hot. He starts coming towards me.
"Liam told me he saw you," he says. He smiles, and I can die right there at the sight of his dimples.
"Yeah, we had a nice conversation until my douche of a boyfriend rudely interrupted." I laugh nervously. Isn't this what you wanted all night, Sabrina? Quit acting like a child.
"Oh, well, I don't want your boyfriend coming after me for asking this or anything, but are you available to hang out sometime during your stay?" Woah, what?
"I should be," I answer. Is he asking me on a date?
"Great. We'll get some time to catch up and mend a broken friendship." Oh, 'friendship.'
"That would be terrific." I smile. I notice the line to the restroom has dimished. I say goodbye to Harry and continue on with my womanly needs. This whole 'friendship' thing is so not going to work.

*Harry's POV*
I walk back to the bar. The boys and I were invited to a birthday party for Zayn's fiancée, Perrie, and who would've known Sabrina would be here...with her boyfriend. I'm trying to do what Holly said and become Sabrina's friend, but it's just not working. There is no way I'm going to be able to 'hang out' with her without remembering what we used to be.
"Why the sad face?" Louis asks. He has two drinks in his hands and tries handing one to me. I refuse it.
"It's nothing," I say, sitting down on one of the bar stools.
"Sabrina, right?" He sits next to me and sets the drinks on the counter.
"How'd you know?"
"Liam told us she's here."
"Oh." We sit in silence for a few minutes.
"I asked her to hang out while she's here," I tell Louis.
"You did?!"
"Yeah. I hope she doesn't think it's a date because it's not." If it were a date I would be fine with that.
"You sure it's not? Where are you guys going to 'hang out?' The bedroom?" I punch his arm. He starts laughing. I wouldn't mind that, though...
"Shut up, Lou."
"No."
"Yes." The bartender appears behind the counter and I ask him for some water.
"Party pooper," Louis teases me. "At least have a shot or something."
"I don't want to drink right now, Lou." Maybe a drink would help with the stress...
