don't look up

a/n - i made them go to school now instead of being homeschooled lol

mackenzie

time has passed. its been 1 month. and i am returning as someone different. that no one knows. a girl who keeps her down low, and never makes eye contact. because she pretends she can't. the dark glasses, and hats are apart of who she is just so she safe. 

this is the new me. 

i can't let anyone know its mackenzie ziegler even if i want to scream it loud or i won't be able to prove my point. 

and like always, i have a plan. 

{time skip to the first day of school in a month]

i close my eyes behind the dark glasses covering 1/4 of my face and walk in. i look down at my feet and make my to the office. but something comes in my way. a person.

"look up."

johnny. johnny orlando. 

"look up or you'll trip."

i slid to the left and continue walking but he grabs my hand. i pull it down and walk off. 

"who are you?"

i stop walking and smile and continue. he will figure out soon enough. 

"stop walking!" 

but i continue. i know him, he raises his voice trying to scare others but if you don't listen you automatically win.

i. never. forgot. about. you. johnny. but did you johnny?

[first period]

everyone in this class stared at me. the ones that stood at me was johnny and lauren. but most importantly was maddie. my own sister who betrayed me. a tear shed my face burning my cheeks and ears making me more nervous then i was before. 

i walk up to the teacher and write down on a piece of paper. 

"i am mute. i can't talk, and i need the glasses and hat on here is a doctors note."

i pass the note and the paper with the fake doctors note that i dug up in the garbage. the teacher looked at me as my head was down low 

"don't be nervous take a seat wherever you like honey." i grab the notebook and the doctors note and sat at the last row far away from the door of the class next to window right behind johnny orlando. this may have been on purpose but no one needs to know that.

i smirked and sat down. first period is till lunch since its the main subject you want to study in college. i chose writing music. co figure maddie wants to take my fame and try singing and then lauren was always a good singer just never wanted to show it, and obviously johnny is a natural.

oh how i miss them

maddie knows me the best. i know i may think she took this class just to take my carrer but i know for a fact that she knows she can't write or sing music. i think she is trying to find me because she knew i would sign me up for this class

oh no. 

i payed attention the whole class and i only had stares on me. because i may have looked up the whole period but the stupid johnny didn't notice. oh well 

[at lunch]

i walk in again with stares hey this won't be as hard as i thought i mean this happened before since i was famous. 

i walk in and take a scan and my eyes land on johnnys table. i walk in to a line and look at the food and write down what i want. 

"an apple please"

the lunch lady looked at me but i didn't know her expression probably confused so i let my hand in a straight palm so she could toss it into my hand. she threw it and i caught it. i threw it in the air like i used to and grabbed it in my palm and took a bite. 

maddie was on to me. she pulled me into the hallway, out of the school and to the backyard.

"its you mackenzie isn't it?"

i took out my notepad.

"no one is looking you can talk to me. 

"i don't know any mackenzie." i wrote down and handed it to her direction. 

"say something. anything and i won't bother you."

"bye" i wrote down and shoved the book at her eyes.  

i walked off but she held my hand 

"i am not going anywhere mackenzie"

hey guys sorry i have been unactive but i will keep posting since this is getting juciy now and when the book is done i will do a chapter of mackenzie's life when she was away for a month i love you guys
