And so the boy did. He told her all about his childhood in Canada. He told the girl about his brother Nick and his a cousin Quincy. He told her about his pets and how much he loves his dog,Rosie. He told the girl everything he possibly could, or everything except for the fact that he's a child actor and is in a popular band. The littler she knew, was better for him, at least for now.
It's not like he didn't want the girl to know, it was quite the opposite actually. He wanted the girl to know everything about him. He wanted her to know everything down to what things he says way to often. But he didn't want her to view him differently. He didn't want her to view him as some cocky, faux superior celebrity. He wanted her to view shim as equal, and as her counterpart. So not telling her who he was, as of right now, was the best decision.
She thought his childhood sounded so pleasant and everything he said made her want to meet Nick and Quincy and Rosie and Eric and Mary. He wanted to turn back time and watch him grow up. She was still curious about a few things, but she didn't want to prod.
However.
There was something about him that was different, like she was missing something very important. But she could figure out what it was. Perhaps he wasn't sharing something bad that happened. Perhaps he wasn't sharing something really big. She didn't know. But she wanted to. But she thought that maybe with sometime he would tell her.
But they had many more stops to come.
