Coffee stained teeth grit
Corners of chapped lips clench
And the once calm exterior
Is now only tenseNails curl into fists
Hearts pick up the pace
And all the sickening crimson
Rushes to her faceFury floods her veins
Rage expands in her lungs
Followed by slight curses
Rolling off the tongueHer words are venomous
Spit out with a vicious bite
Laced with bitter disappointment
At the infuriating sightLips she once claimed
Offered to another
What now reads lost
Once said loverIt was expected however
This dagger to her back
Drowning in hate
Admiration in the past
