I like the way you pluck piano keys
The same way you pluck weeds from the garden of your mind
A gardener of chords and chrysanthemums alike
And I envy everything about you
The yanks of the grass
And the arch of fingers pressing down into the concaving black and white
I envy all that you are
The destroyer and the creator
The god of it all
Even as minuscule as it can be
Absolutely anything but a liability•••
