"Don't you need to ask your parent's permission to go out of school?" Your teacher asked.
You turned around dramatically as your bangs covered your eyes. "My parents are dead... bitch."

Senpai and I walked into my house and made our way to the living room. Both of you sat down on the couch and you started a movie. He wraps an arm around your shoulder and you leaned against him.
"Let's do it."
"Okay, there's no one here anyways!"
Seriously, did you just pop out of nowhere?! Were you born from nothing or what? I think that, in order for a story to be realistic, you should have the reader have parents. Parents can be used to build up a plot, for example: have Senpai meet them, ask for their blessing, or your parents could force you guys to split up (for angst though).
