💚Thomas' Birthday💜
"Tommy~" I purred, standing behind my tall-ass boyfriend, who was seated at our dining table. He was sipping at his coffee, not making any eye contact with me, and not even acknowledging my presence. I rolled my eyes at him, moving my hands to massage his shoulders. "Tommy, babe~. I got something to give you~. Pay attention to me, or I'll have to kick your ass, later~."
He chuckled weakly, turning around to face me, with tired eyes. I frowned a little, and gently moved my hand to caress his cheeks. "Hey, Alex. What's up? Why are you being so needy this morning?"
I gave a small shrug, deciding to hide my true intentions, for now. Thomas will figure it out by himself, anyways. He always does. It's hard to keep secrets, around him. He has a strange way of finding out things... It gets on my nerves, sometimes. But, I still love him, nonetheless.
"Because, you're my favourite person in the world, and I love you~" I mimicked a child's voice, pressing my lips to his cheek, and peppering him with small kisses here and there.
Thomas let out a small laugh, pushing my face off of his. "Okay, okay. What animal did you bring home this time?"
"Why do you always doubt my intentions?" I pouted my lips, moving around to move onto his lap. "But, while we're on the subject...can we get a puppy?"
"Alexander," he laughed again, bringing his favourite mug up to his lips.
I bought him that mug, for Christmas. It's coated with a layer of chalkboard paint, which has our initials written on it, with chalk. "A.H. x T.J.", with a heart around it. Yes, we're relationship goals. Be jealous. Because, I know you are.
"Fine, fine," I scoffed, pretending to be upset. But, the truth was, I was incapable of feeling anything except overly excited. Because, today is special~! "...how about a hamster?"
"Darling--"
"What's wrong with a hamster?" I interjected, grabbing hold of the sides of Thomas' face. "They're smaller than a puppy, and easier to take care of! Plus, they're super adorable!"
"Alex, hun," Thomas removed my hands off of his face, sighing sadly, "I'm not in the mood, right now. Not having a good morning."
"Well, I sure ain't havin' a good mornin'," I badly mimicked his southern accent, crossing my arms. " 'Cuz my douchebag boyfriend be leavin' me alone in bed this mornin', when I was a-wantin' to be wakin' up next to my darlin' lova', and he wasn' there. And, all I wanna do, is be givin' him this darn tootin' good surprise--"
"If you don't stop, I will literally fling you off of me. Right here, right now," he scowled, a bit of playfulness hidden behind his voice. I stuck my tongue out at him, mouthing a 'make me'. "I warned ya."
And with that, I was flung backwards onto the kitchen floor. I grumbled childishly to myself, staring up at Thomas, who decided to stand, and set his mug down on the table. He glared down at me, the playfulness slipping away. It honestly scared me a little...
"Hamilton, I'm sorry. I'm not in the mood," he sighed, stepping over me, to walk into our living room.
I shivered a little, at him calling me by my last name. He hasn't called me 'Hamilton' since we first started dating, almost a year ago. Ignoring that, I rolled onto my stomach, maneuvering myself to view the living room, without having to get up.
Thomas sat on our couch, leaning his head back, and dragging his hands down his face. I frowned a little, disappointed in myself for pissing off my boyfriend, which wasn't my intention at all. I was just playing around, to get him in a playful mood. Maybe a bit of teasing, here and there. Why was he so upset with me? We were perfectly content last night. I don't think I did anything wrong. Did I?
