💟Hidden Romance💛
Philip Hamilton pushed open the bay window, looking down at the ground. His younger sister, Angelica Hamilton, stood in the doorway of his bedroom, keeping an eye out for any oncoming intruders. Taking a deep breath, Philip ushered for Angelica to shut the door, and come over.
"Okay, I'm off then," Philip smiled down at his sister, before starting his climb out the window. "Thanks for keeping an eye out, Angie. Make sure to close the window for me, while I head off."
"Of course, Pip! Anything for my big brother!" Angelica giggled, as Philip hopped to the ground. "Have fun with your boyfriend~" She teased, waving him goodbye, as Philip strolled off, with a blush present on his face.
Walking for what seemed like ages, young, fifteen-year-old boy hummed a simple tune to himself, his heart racing with the anticipation. Eventually, he made it to a small park, not very filled with people. Though, someone caught his eye immediately.
A young man, about two years older than himself, stood leaning up against the furthest lamppost. He had dark skin, and black, curly hair. The young man wore a dark grey hoodie, with his hands resting in the muff pocket. Philip's face lit up, as he skipped over to the young man.
"Hello, there, stranger," Philip giggled, leaning up against the lamppost, beside the young, dark-skinned man. "What brings you to this lonely part of the park?"
"Waiting for my boyfriend, who's late. Like always." He glanced over at Philip, shaking his head. "And he's lucky I'm patient enough to wait up for him, or else I would've went home by now."
"Aww, cut him some slack. Maybe he has an overprotective dad, that he has to sneak away from, to come to a park half-a-mile away, to meet up with you!" Philip huffed, crossing his arms.
The young man chuckled, smiling down at Philip. "Hey, babe. It's about time that you showed up. I was getting lonely without you."
"Hey George," Philip smiled back, outstretching his arms to George Eacker- his boyfriend. "I missed you."
George accepted the embrace, hugging him back. The two of them stayed there for a moment longer, before pulling apart. Though, Philip managed to slip in a kiss on the cheek, which left them both blushing messes. The two of them stood there for a moment, just awkwardly staring into each other's eyes.
Scratching the back of his neck, George decided to start up a conversation, "so, we agreed on noon. What took you an extra hour to get here?"
"I already told you! It's hard to come see you, when my dad has to know my every movement, every waking second," he groaned, kicking a pebble.
"You're dad's a douchebag. You know that, right?"
Philip glared at George, who lifted his hands in defence. "Watch it, Eacker. Don't talk shit about my pops. You remember what happened before, when things got too out of hand."
"Yeah, I almost killed you," George smirked, watching as Philip's face flushed red with anger.
"Don't give yourself so much credit, I can easily take you down!"
"Oh, please. I would've knocked you out, before you could even count to seven."
Philip rolled his eyes, giving up. He knew that was most likely true. George was bigger and older than him, and being the 'bad boy' in school, he's definitely had more experience in fighting. But, still, Philip could be a tough kid when he wanted. He's sure that if presented the opportunity to fight for someone's honor, he wouldn't be knocked down at the count of seven, like George likes to claim.
"Whatever," Philip rolled his eyes, and George triumphantly smiled. "You're lucky I love you. Just, don't talk crap about my dad, and we'll be all good. Only I can talk shit 'bout my pops."
"Watch your fucking language, Pip. We're in a public place!"
"Hypocrisy at it's finest, jackass."
The two of them shared a small laugh, as Philip laid his head on George's shoulder. Their relationship was incredibly bipolar, due to having such conflicting personalities. However, that seems to be what draws them closer to one another. Having a partner that is exactly like you, isn't all that fun. It's nice once in a while to have some playful banter of disagreements, to remind yourself why you're with your partner in the first place. And that's why Philip Hamilton loved being with George. They weren't perfect, and that was the adventure of it.
"You know that I love you," Philip grazed his finger over George's hand. "But, I wish my parents saw how much you mean to me, rather than forbidding me from being even associated with you, let alone dating you."
"Why do they hate me so much?" George asked, a mixture of concern and sadness lacing his voice.
"They think you're a bad influence on me... Especially after we almost got into a fist-fight at school. My mom and dad don't even want me to be around you, at all."
"Well, fuck them," he laughed, grabbing Philip's hands. "We've got each other, and none of it matters. Soon enough, you'll be eighteen, and I'll come back from College to sweep you off of your feet, and run away with me."
"But that's so far away," Philip pouted, reaching up to caress George's cheek. "Just take me now. Let's run!"
As Philip started to take off, George pulled him back, unable to hold in laughter. "No, no, no... Not right now. I said when you're an adult, and I'm not gonna get in huge fucking trouble with the Hamiltons."
"Do you think we're going to still be together until then?"
George sighed, looking like his heart was breaking. He slid down onto the ground, with a small shrug. Philip sat down beside him, watching his boyfriend intently.
"Well, let's hope so," George smiled, pulling in Philip for a side-hug. "You're amazing, and I don't know what I'd do without you..."
"Why'd you choose me?" Philip spoke up out of nowhere.
"Huh? Where did that come from, babe?"
"Why do you like me so much?"
George paused, smiling sincerely. "I dunno. I guess you just...blew me away."
"That's corny."
"Fuck you."
"Please?"
"God damn it, Pip," George shook his head as Philip laughed it out.
"I love you so much" Philip chuckled, snuggling in close to his boyfriend, allowing him to kiss his forehead.
"I love you, too..."
