❤Best of Wives and Best of Women💙
Eliza finished cooking breakfast, inhaling the delicious smell of bacon and eggs on a Saturday morning. She hummed to herself, and prepared two plates full of food, as she headed into the dining room.
There was her beautiful wife, Maria, doodling flowers on a napkin. Eliza giggled to herself, sliding a plate in front of her wife. Maria glanced up, smiling sweetly at her.
"Hi, Love," Eliza waved at her, sitting across from Maria. "How are you doing this fine morning?"
"Lovely as always, but even more so ever since you walked into the room," Maria replied, before turning to pick at her meal. "You're just too beautiful."
"Aww, stop it. You're going to make me blush."
Maria shook her head, "I won't stop, unless you ever stop being the most gorgeous being in the world. Which is impossible, so I guess I'm not going to ever stop."
The two of them giggled, and finished their breakfast meals. Then, Eliza swooped over to Maria's side, resting her chin on her wife's head.
"You don't work today, right?" Maria turned her gaze upwards, as Eliza's hair fell in front of her face.
"Nope, it's Saturday," Eliza kissed the top of Maria head, wrapping her arm around Maria's chest from behind. "I'm all yours, dollface."
"Hey, maybe we should go on a date night," Maria suggested, spinning around in her seat so she could be face-to-face with Eliza. "We haven't done one of those in a while! It could be fun!"
"I dunno," Eliza's cheerful mood turned more dismal. "Do you remember what happened last time?"
Maria slowly nodded, and pouted her lips. "Yeah..."
Eliza was referring to the last date night they went on. The two girls were just trying to spend a lovely evening together, to celebrate their anniversary. But, that was ruined by prejudiced passersby with rude comments about their homosexual relationaship (not to add on to the fact that douchebag men were constantly pestering them, because they were young and attractive lesbians). Ever since then, they've avoided nights out.
"I don't want us to go through that again," Eliza caressed the side of Maria's soft cheek. "It was really upsetting, for the both of us."
"Yeah, but, we're in a new town now, darling!" Maria jumped out of her chair, holding Eliza's warm hands in her own. "Who knows? Maybe this town is much more accepting of us than the last."
"Um..," Eliza rubbed her forearm, biting her lip. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Mari?"
"C'mon, 'Liza," Maria squeezed her wife's hands a little tighter, standing up on her tip-toes to gently kiss her cheek. "I-I mean, if you don't want to, we can always just stay home, binge watch nineties cartoons, and eat pizza rolls."
"That's everyday," Eliza laughed, running her hands through Maria's light brown curls. "And, I do like the idea of trying something different. We can go out, if you really want to."
"Really?"
"Yeah, of course!"
"How about five, tonight?"
"Sounds great to me."
That evening, Eliza dolled up for her wife, donning a white lace dress and a jean jacket, along with black heels. Finishing it all off with a kerchief tied in a bow on her head, holding her black hair back, Eliza strolled out to the living room, where Maria was waiting for her.
Maria was absolutely stunning (as always, to Eliza), wearing a crimson red crop top, one which made her already large bust that more prominent, overlayed with a black shawl, and a blood red hairbow on the side of her head. She finished off the sexy look with fishnet stockings, a black mini-skirt, and black ankle boots. Eliza couldn't help but stare.
"You never cease to amaze me, you gorgeous thing," Eliza complimented her, causing Maria's face to flush.
"Look at you, 'Liza! You look so beautiful, as always," Maria blew a kiss to Eliza, who couldn't help but smile. "You look so precious, I just can't! Wear this more often, please!"
"Then it won't be as special anymore."
"True," Maria sighed, blown away by Eliza's beauty.
"And what about you, girl?" Eliza grabbed Maria's hand, lifting it and twirling her. "You look too fine. I'm afraid someone will try and steal you away from me."
"Then I'd flip 'em off, and say, 'sorry, but you aren't my beautiful wife'," Maria giggled, as Eliza stopped twirling her.
"Well, then darling," Eliza intertwined her hand with Maria's, "shall we be off?"
"After you, Princess."
The two of them spent the entire evening together having fun. Only once did something disrupt them, which was a drunk guy at the bar of a restaurant they were eating at, tried to hook up with Maria. But he immediately backed off when her lesbian lover showed up, threating to deck him in the face (which of course she would never do, but it did give the man quite a big scare). Neither of them were flirted with anymore there. But, aside from that, everything was actually very fine. No prejudice or discrimination because of their sexualities, not much of being put down, because they were 'helpless women'. Overall, they find actually a decent town to live.
After their night of fun came to a close, Maria and Eliza walked arm-in-arm back to their small home, about half-a-mile away. The two of them were silent, just walking close together, and humming a random tune they heard.
"Thanks for convincing me to go out on a date night," Eliza happily sighed, allowing Maria to rest her head on her shoulder. "I haven't had this much fun in a while."
"We should do this more often," Maria agreed, giving Eliza a kiss on the cheek, leaving a red lipstick stain on her cheek. "Hey...you know... The night isn't over quite yet~"
The two of them stopped walking, and Eliza turned to look down at her wife. "Oh? What do you mean?"
"There's still enough time to have some more fun, if you get what I'm saying~"
Eliza stared at Maria in confusion for a moment, before it clicked. "Oh! Do you mean..."
"Ice cream, and pizza rolls!" Maria exclaimed excitedly.
"And nineties cartoons in our pajamas!" Eliza added in, jumping up and down.
"Hell yeah!" Maria joined her, before bursting out into laughter. "Oh my God, I love you so much, 'Liza."
"I love you more, my beautiful wife."
That night, the young women stayed up until four in the morning watching old cartoons and sharing laughs. And they were beyond happy to have found each other in the first place, and they never planned on letting each other go.
