Chapter Eight: You're Together?

IT WAS EARLY morning and everyone had been sitting at the table, a wave of awkward silence going through the air. I still can't believe Rae and Liam. God, I wish I hadn't gone to check on her last night. Picking at the eggs that were on a plate in front of me, I begin to think back about what happened. Closing my eyes briefly I remembered.

I walked down the hall with a little candle to help guide my way through the darkness. Coming upon Rae's room I halted, putting my ear close to the door. I heard the creaking of the bed as it shook a bit, with a little bit of a bang, it was pretty brief so I had supposed that they were shifting around, so I opened the door. The sight I saw was horrific, scaring me for life. I saw Liam laying down and Rae on top of him, her naked back was shown as sheets were surrounding her lower back, hiding all the disgusting things that had been happening. His hands griping her thighs as they moved in pace with each other, as hers laid on his chest. They were trying to keep it quiet yet from time to time a little moan had slipped through her lips. It felt as if I had been standing there for an eternity, I didn't know what to do, it was if my body was just stuck. Soon Liam's head had turned, almost as if he was trying to admire her body yet out of the corner of his eye he peered at me in embarrassment.

"Rae!" Liam shouted.

"What? Can't keep up?" She joked inappropriately.

"No! It's Alaska!"

"What?"

She turned her head and saw me standing at the door, my mouth dropped, almost to the point where it could no longer drop anymore.

"Oh my god! Alaska!" She screamed rolling off the side of the bed taking the covers with her.

Liam laid there until quickly rolling off the other side. He grabbed a pillow quickly putting it over the front of his waist, scavenging the side for a blanket. The second he found the brown blanket he wrapped it around his waist before standing up. Rae already stood up, holding the blankets close to her chest.

"What's going on here?" Lilith said rubbing her eyes, standing in her door frame"Oh good god"

Lilith saw the same thing I was seeing but this time Rae was smiling awkwardly. It didn't take long for Tatum to wonder upon the same thing the rest of us had been seeing, but instead of being shocked he laughed and said "You guys know your cleaning the sheets, right?"

Rae and Liam both awkwardly laughed but stopped immediately. "Alaska?" Rae soon asked looking at me.

I grunted and stormed off. I wasn't about to stay here, this is disgusting! I mean like I know everyone does it sometime in their life but I can't just laugh about it! It's just weird seeing my aunt with someone! Ugh.

Opening my eyes, I take myself back out of these disturbing thoughts and go back to eating my breakfast. Before eating my eggs, I started to feed Poppy who was sitting in a high chair beside me. She seemed so happy this morning, wish I could say the same I'm still mentally processing things, which in my case is horrible because I hate reliving seeing what I had. Liam soon grabbed his plate of eggs and bacon and sat across from me, looking at me pretty intensely. He opened his mouth to speak but I had cut him off before he could talk.

"So, how long has this been happening?" I asked looking at Poppy, feeding her the eggs.

"A couple of months" He replied.

I stopped all my movements for a second, before continuing feeding Poppy.

"Why didn't you tell me? or anyone else for that matter?"

"Your aunt suggested keeping it a secret for a while. We didn't mean for you to find out that way, Alaska"

"It's okay I understand."
