"Okay hunny I need you to push on 3"

"I can't... I can't"

"Yes, you can Alaska!" Tatum said holding my hand.

"Okay Alaska I need you to push... Now!"

I squeezed my eyes shut as I pushed. My contractions getting bigger.

"There you go!"

"Good job baby" Rae said, wiping my head with a cold cloth.

"Okay another big push Alaska!" The nurse said.

"You're doing great Alaska" Tatum said.

Screaming out while gripping Tatum's hand hard, my back went up as I pushed. Then everything went quiet. My vision began to blur as I heard crying. The nurse and doctor smiled and lifted the baby up for me to see. I smiled weakly as I looked to Tatum. He kissed my head, and I could feel Rae's hand grazing my back.

"It's a girl!" The doctor said, cutting her umbilical cord.

"You have a daughter Flaska!" Tatum laughed as I could hear his voice get emotional.

"Poppy..." I smiled.

My head began to bob a bit as I felt incredibly tired, my vision blurring more with every second. I grab Tatum's shirt weakly.

"Somethings wrong" I said before I felt myself fall backwards.

My back hit the bed and I heard Rae scream out to the doctor. My vision clouded over with darkness as every second passed. I heard the voices, but I couldn't see anything.

"She losing to much blood we need to prep her for surgery!" The doctor said.

"Surgery!" Rae questioned.

"We need you guys out now!"

"We're not leaving!" Tatum shouted.

I heard them escort them out as they began moving my bed, and the rest was a blur. Everything was dark and cold. It was so quiet. A beeping sound soon started up and the darkness was no more. My eyes were heavy, but they opened, I saw Rae sleeping in the chair on my left, and the monitor for my heart was close beside me. That's where the beeping is coming from. Moving my head to the right I saw what seemed to be a small bed of sorts. It had glass surrounding it. I moved closer and saw my baby. She was so beautiful. A lot of hair too. She slept peacefully wrapped in a pink blanket. I took hold of her tiny hand that was outside of the blanket, grazing it with my fingers. Her skin was softer than anything I've ever felt. I smiled to myself.

"What are you doing here?" I heard Tatum say to someone, outside of my room.

"I want to see her!" The man said.

"After the shit you pulled? No fucking way." Tatum started getting aggressive.

"Whether you like it or not she's my child's mother, not yours. You can't keep me from her or my baby"

"Like you wanted to be there in the first place." Tatum paused "Get out of here Andrew, she doesn't need your mind games, she's better off without you. Her and that baby"

"At least tell me what it is" Andrew said.

"You don't deserve to know."
