After the man leaves with Lance's mother the candelabra comes to life and opens the cell door causing Lance to spring up from the ground. Startled he approaches the opened door.

"Forgive my intrusion, Monsieur! But I have come to escort you to your room!"

Lance stops in his tracks a looks at his saviors shadow. He starts to get suspicious. "My room??? But I thought..."

"What? That "Once this door closes it will not open again"? I know he gets soooooo dramatic!"

Lance peers around the corner and jumps seeing a candelabra that has come to life hanging from the switch of the cell's lock mechanism.

The candelabra smiles and waves, " 'Ello!"

Lance quickly grabs a small wooden stool and smacks the candelabra with it letting a small scared screech out, "What are you?!"

The candelabra moves the stool off of itself and looks up at Lance, "I am Matt!"

Lance raises an eyebrow feeling as if he's dreaming, "A-and... You can talk?!"

"Well of course he can talk! That's all he ever does! Now as head of the household, I demand that you put him back in that cell at once, Matthew!" A clock shouts behind Lance sending him into a more frantic state.

"Do you want to be a girl or a mantle clock for the rest of your life, Pidge?! Now let me escort you to your room sir!" The candelabra says.

Lance looks at the candelabra that starts to walk away and down the stairs.

"I'm talking to a candle... And a Mantle clock..." Lance mumbles, "I. Am. Talking. To. A. Candle...."

The candelabra peeks back at Lance and motions for him to him, "Well come on!"

~~~~~~
Lance looks around at the room he was given, "W-wow... It's beautiful."
Matt smiles up at Lance and walks across the room to the bed, "Well of course! Master wanted you to have the finest room room in the castle!" He taps the side of the bed and dust falls on him, "It's quite dusty though... We weren't really expecting any guests... But! Not to worry, We'll have this place spotless in no time!"
A white and light purple feather duster flies into the room and starts to dust everything off, "This plan of yours is dangerous, Matthew!"
"I would risk anything to be human again!" Matt exclaims.
"Is everything in this castle alive?" Lance asks walking over to the dresser and picking up a hairbrush and inspecting it.
Pidge, the mantle clock answers that question, "Uh, that's a hairbrush."
Lance puts the hairbrush down and looks at the sentient objects, "I-I knew that!"
"Uh-huh..." Pidge answers, she waddles over to the wardrobe and knocks on it, "Come on Allura wake up!"
The wardrobe suddenly comes alive, "What- What?! Oh, hello Pidge, Matthew, Lotor- Wait! A guest? Master has a guest?" The wardrobe turns its attention to Lance, "Are you a friend of the master?"
"Uuuhhh... um.. more like a prison-"
"Yes, yes, Allura..." Matthew assures, "He's a... friend." He adds a wink.
Allura understands perfectly, "Oh! He's a... friend." The giddiness in the wardrobes voice is very noticeable, "You must be a prince!"
Lance is took aback by the wardrobe's response, "N-no! I-I'm-"
"Nonsense! Everyone is a prince or a princess! Now lets see what I have in my drawers!" The wardrobe's top drawer opens and little mice crawl out, "Where do you think you're going?!"
The mice scurry out of the room.
"Oh well..." Allura says, opening another one of her drawers, "They'll be back. They always come back- Oh! There it is! Hold still dear!"
All of a sudden Lance finds himself surrounded in ribbons. New clothing being thrown on him and then the ribbons fall around him. Looking down he finds he is in an over the top, WAY too flashy suit.
Matt smiles, "Bright! Flashy! I love it!" He and the other objects start to leave, "Blue is certainly your color monsieur!"
The wardrobe starts to close but quickly says, "Send my love to the maestro!"
Alone Lance slips out of the flashy suit and back into his normal clothes. He certainly loves blue but that flashy blue suit just wasn't calling his name.
Lance looks around at the fancy room trying to find a way to escape. He goes over to the window and opens it. Looking down he finds that he is so not jumping because that would be certain death. But he has to escape... He continues to look around and spots the ribbons and some cloths. He quickly grabs them and starts to tie some together. He looks around for something to tie his version of a rope to. Finding nothing he has an idea. Getting down on his hands and knees, Lance ties the forming rope to one of the posts of the bed.
Lance stands up and looks at the ribbon and cloth rope. It looks some what strong. He grabs more cloth and starts to strengthen the rope that's tied to the bed.
Suddenly there's a knock on the door. Lance shoves the rope under the bed.
"You'll join me for dinner. That's not a request."
Lance recognizes that voice. It the man who trapped him here. Trying to gain some time Lance answers, "Just a minute!"
He ties some more cloths and ribbons together but jumps and drops the rope at the sound of more knocking on the door.
"Will you join me for dinner?"
The man's voice sounds softer more kind, but there's a hint of sarcasm in it. Lance kicks the rope back under the bed and frowns.
"You take me as your prisoner and now you want me to join you for dinner?" He crosses his arms and glares at the door, "Do you think I'm some sort of uneducated dimwit?!"
The knocking turns into pounding.
"I told you to join me for dinner!" The man snaps.
Lance shouts back at him, "And I told you no! I'd starve before I'd ever eat with you!"
"Fine! Be my guest! If you don't eat with me then you don't eat at all!"
