Prologue

Jemma

My name is Jemma. I'm sixteen years old, and I love Yugioh. 

Sure it seems odd for a girl my age to love a card game, but I knew that things would always be more exciting than being homeschooled by my mother. 

My father, Dr. Frank, is an scientist, who wants to know more about the events of Domino City, which I knew that is where Yugi is from. 

Although, I haven't seen what type of city Domino city is, or the fact if it really exists. 

"Jemma Evelyn Franklin! " I hear a voice calling me out, which I groaned in agony. 

There is only one person who calls me by my full name was my mother, who has this temper which I don't understand so well. 

I said, "Yes, mom? " 

"Could yo be a dear and send your father his lunch? He must've forgotten it again." She said, handing me his lunch all ready in a brown bag. 

"Why do I get this feeling that you really don't believe that he might have a breakthrough of his research?" I ask, while I grabbed his lunch and grabbed into my bike. 

I biked through the busy streets, as the friendly neighbors saw me passing by. 

"Hi, Jemma, going to your dad's lab, I assume?" One of the neighbors ask me. 

"You know it! " I replied, as I parked my bike towards an enormous building as I grin with excitement. 

"This is going to be very exciting moment for dad. I really hope that he can actually pulled it off today." I thought in my mind as I walk inside the lab.

I saw my father with a large tube. 

"Dad!" I greeted him as he was stunned as he falls down with a crash. 

"Jemma. I didn't know that you were here." He said, as I helped him up from the surprise attack. 

I said, "Well, Mom wanted me to give you your lunch, again." 

"Thanks, sweetie. I want to ask-" 

Suddenly, I hear police sirens as I said, "Papa! What's-" 

He didn't tell me as he pushes me through the tube as he pressed some buttons and I was transported without telling where I was going.
