Chapter 1: Yugi's kidnapping

Yugi

I rushed through the streets of Domino City. I planned to meet Joey in one of the sites of Battle City Finals. 

It does bring back a lot of memories, although it wasn't Joey's fault that he was possessed by Marik's evil side and we had to duel against each other. 

He was leaning in one of the sides of the docks as he yells, "Hey, Yug." 

I panted, "I'm so sorry that I'm late, Joey. I have unfinished duties at the Game shop with Grandpa." 

My best friend smiles at me, "Hey, it's no big deal, Yugi. I know how much you want to help your Grandpa . 

You still missed the Pharaoh, don't you?"

I nodded, I still remembered the last battle I've had with the Pharaoh, I mean, Atem.

In order for him to go back to the afterlife, he has to go through this ritual and it has to be a way for him to lost to a duel.

As for his opponent, it has to be me, because I have to.

It has been my toughest challenge yet, to duel against my closest friend.

I groaned, where am I?

Then I remembered that Dad put me through a tube without mention what the tube really is. 

I look at myself, and I wore different clothes and I have a scar on my right cheek. 

I also gotten myself a deck of Duel Monsters and an Duel Disk on my right arm. 

Wait, is this...

I look around my surroundings as I saw that I wasn't in my dimension. 

"I can't actually believe it. I think I'm in a different dimension! But whose?" I thought. Then I hear two voices.

"I play Pot of Greed, it allows me to draw five new cards to my hand. And I place one card face down." 

"My move! I play Armored Lizard in attack mode and hit your life points directly! " 

I said, "This can't be Domino City , it can't be..." 

Suddenly, I noticed the familiar spikey hair boy . 

"Yugi? Wait, is this mean I'm in... Yugi's world?!?" I gasped. 

Yugi and Joey were having a duel, and it does makes sense because they're best of friends as well as duelists. 

Man, did my father actually made a transportation device to travel through dimensions? If he did, he didn't bother to tell me how to get back without any instruction manual?!?

As I watched the boys battle, I was itching for a duel. Who would have a chance to duel against the King of Games himself?

Suddenly, a black truck came out, as two men instantly grabs Yugi! 

"Yug!" Joey said, as he tries to rescue his best friend, but it wasn't enough. The men rushed with him and I couldn't stand there and do nothing.

"Hey! I said, as my deck suddenly glows in bright gold light . 

Joey looks at me as if I was crazy.

I heard a voice said, "Hey!" I turned to see a girl with red hair and a green tank top with a duel disk?

She must be a duelist, but where she come from?

"You have a lot of nerve to try to kidnap the King of Games. I challenge you to a duel, right here, right now!" She said. 

I said, "Wait a second! Do you know how to duel? It is your first time and I consider if you should let me take care of it." 

She said, "Not to be disrespectful , Joey, but I think I can manage it. Besides, I know how to duel." 

She seems so confident, but why?

She reached her deck for a card as it reveals something, like the Pharaoh used to do when it was his move. 

She looks at the card, as she said, "I summon my Dark Magician Woman and Dark Magician!" 

I sacrificed them both so I can summon this! 

Sliverwing Blast Gandora, the Dragon of Light!" 

I was amazed of when the Dragon was summoned. It looks like Gandora, the Dragon of Destruction, when Yugi was separated from the Pharaoh.

"It looks big!" One of them said. 

"It looks big, and it did cost me half of my life points to 400. I say that you have no chance. " She smirks. 

"Activate your special ability, Fire Blast attack!" She yells, as the monster makes a big blast as I covered myself . 

As the dusk clears, the men disappears along with Yugi!

"Man, I thought that could save Yugi from those thugs." She mutters, as she looks at her card she has summoned.

I said, looking at her, "Just who are you, and where you get that card?"

She said, "It's a little hard to explain, Joey Wheeler."
