I stood in line eagerly giggling at my best friend Raven. "Relax Melodie. They don't bite." I rolled my eyes and slapped her arm. "It's not the first time I've met them, I'm nervous about meeting Vinny. Plus, it's Carolina Rebellion, it's rather nerve-wracking." The line moved forward, closer to the band... and I couldn't help but grin and start shaking. Eventually we made our way up to the meet and greet, Vinny was the first one I walked up to. "Hey cutie, what's your name?" He asked, wrapping his arm around you. "Mel-Melodie." I stuttered, staring down at the poster in my hands. "Here, let me sign that for you." He said, gently taking the laminated picture from you. "Can we take a picture?" He asked you, you nodded and pulled out your phone, quickly taking a selfie. You heard Raven giggle as Chris hugged her, "Here beautiful." Vinny said handing the poster back to you. Without looking at it you carefully rolled the poster back up, grabbed Raven by her hand and pulled her away from Chris. "Hey!" She shouted, trying to keep up with you. You spun her around and squealed. "I guess that's my cue to ask if you're ok...?" She trailed off, rubbing my shoulders. I nodded, "He called me cute, and then said I was beautiful and he signed my poster and I..." "Pulled me away from Chris." "Shut up, I fucking died." Raven rolled her eye and pulled the poster from my hands, "What did he si- Oh fuck!" She hollered and pointed to Vinny's signature. My eyes fell out of their sockets as my jaw hit the ground. "Text me anytime beautiful -Vinny" "I guess he likes you back." Raven said with a grin on her face, "We gotta go back anyway. I need another Chris hug." "NO!" I shouted as she tugged me back to the Motionless tent, luckily there was no line. "Hey, you're back!" Chris called as he hugged Raven. "Yeah, sorry for being yanked away. My friend Melodie and I wanna get a tattoo but we want it in your writing if that's okay..." I felt eyes on me and when I looked past Chris I saw Vinny staring at me. Before I could look away he winked at me, I felt my face turn red. "Where did you want me to write?" Chris asked you, you pulled your shirt to the side and stared at his hands as he wrote 'Horror Queen' on your chest. "Thank you!" Raven called as we walked away. I pulled out my phone and texted Vinny, feeling her stare over my shoulder.
