Dedicated to Tiffanijolly

Anxiety was real. Anxiety was cruel. Your anxiety was worse because you were "special" as your friends and family called it. You were blind. And mute. You were born that way and after all these many years you still didn't know if it was a blessing or a curse. The only thing that made you happy: music. Specifically Motionless In White and honestly... Ricky was your favorite. His voice was so beautiful and eloquent. You couldn't wait to meet him. Which is why anxiety is cruel. You are currently at the meet and greet with your best friends... you called each other the Catharsis Cult. And you were shaking, terribly. "Y/n... relax sweetie. You'll be fine. The guys will be super understanding." Your friend Lauren said, guiding your shaking form a few steps closer. You couldn't calm enough to sign anything, instead you just shook your head. She sighed and hugged you closer, "I promise. If not I will personally kick their asses-" you silently giggled and signed "Okay, okay. You win." She tugged you one step closer, you could hear the boys. They were thanking someone for a gift they had gotten. "We're next Y/n, take a deep breath. It'll be okay." You nodded and took a deep breath taking the next few steps forward.

The next set of girls came forward, one girl gripping the other. That's when I saw what was really happening. The other girl had black and purple hair, her eyes were a milky grey and had no focus to them. She wore a black tee shirt, black shorts, and purple vans. "Hi guys, I'm Lauren. And this is my friend Y/n. Sorry we're both really nervous." Lauren said, making her way down the line to hug all of us. "Nah It's all good." Chris said, reaching to hug Lauren. Y/n nervously signed something into the air, shifting nervously on her toes. "He's right here y/n. Ricky, can you take her hand?" I nodded and did as she asked, pulling her into my side for a hug. She took my hand and laid it in hers, palm side up. She began signing. "I...I'm sorry y/n. I don't know sign language." "She's saying that you have an amazing voice and that you have been such and inspiration to her. She loves that you're strong enough to have been through what you have." Y/n had a small smile and tears prickling in her eyes. I wrapped my arms around her shoulder and gave her a tight hug. "You are so strong and beautiful y/n, I couldn't imagine being blind, let alone mute." She broke out into a big grin as a lone tear fell down her pale cheek, she began signing into my palm again. "She's asking what do you look like." Lauren translated, eyeing me nervously.

Ricky's arm hand gripped my wrist lightly, guiding the palm of my hand to his cheek. "I have pale skin," he closed his eyes and let my finger explore his facial structure, continuing his description. "pale blue eyes. Black hair. I have a lot of different tattoos... the one on my throat is an intricate heart and rose." You smiled, enjoying the description. And the feel of his skin. When your palm reached his lips he lightly gripped your wrist and placed a kiss in the center. You felt your face heat up and smiled even bigger. "I want you and your friend to be side stage tonight y/n."
