You patiently waited in line, your pumpkin shaped birthmark was unnaturally red right now. You had mentioned it to your friends but they had honestly been too excited about meeting the band to really pay attention...Your friends had been able to afford VIP, you had not. But you understood their excitement. Plus they promised to save you a spot at the barricade. "Open your bag and hold your arms out." The security officer said, you followed his directions even though he barely glanced at your bag. "Straight through these doors, no running or fighting." He said as he shoved your bag back into your arms. You nodded and fast walked your way past him, running when you made it through the doors. "Y/n over here!" Your friends called, flailing their arms in the air. You followed their directions as they made room for you at the barricade. "Now hopefully we all keep our spots." Hailey said, death gripping the metal pole at the top of the barricade. You laughed but agreed... people were ridiculous and would do anything for barricade.

The concert was going pretty great; you had already been kicked in the chest once by a crowd surfer, your hair had been yanked multiple times, and you were pretty sure you had a broken nose from the surfers. But now was the main event, the entire reason why you were suffering through the surfers. Motionless In White was about to preform. The stage was beautifully arranged with pumpkins and skeletons. The lights were dim and the Undead Ahead 2 began to play as the into song... you heart was racing. A tingly burning sensation ran across your mark just before Chris marched on stage. You were to engrossed by your birthmark to listen to the music. You were honestly scared something was wrong. But if you had paid attention you would have seen Chris, holding the side of his neck, covering his well known pumpkin tattoos.

The burning had subsided and you could fully enjoy the show now. You were head banging with the band, screaming their lyrics, and truly enjoying the moment. Chris was standing on the riser right in front you, singing they lyrics to 'Abigail' when the burning returned. He reached for his neck as you gripped your wrist, it hurt so bad you almost wanted to cry. "Watch-" You heard someone yell as a crowd surfer was dropped on top of you. Security and AJ were doing all they could to lift the man up but he was drunk and fighting. You started to panic. You couldn't breathe. The man passed out, feeling like he just gained 100 pounds on your chest. He was finally lifted off you by the team of men, your friends got you into a semi standing position. You tried to catch you breath but couldn't... the panic started to set in. You felt two strong arms grip you, one across your shoulders and the other under your knees as they bridal lifted you up and over the barricade. Your arm draped across their neck, feeling the burning sensation subside when you finally made eye contact. Chris Motionless had picked you up. And now you were in his arms. On stage. In front of a sold out show. He set you on your feet and half dragged you side stage, away from prying eyes. "Can you stay here until after the show?" He asked, never taking his eyes off yours. You nodded slowly, unthinkingly licking your lips. He smiled and jogged back on stage, picking up where the band had left off. You stared in shock, watching in amazement.

You were sitting so close to Chris you were practically in his lap. He didn't seem to mind though, his hand was on your knee absently rubbing circles on your bare skin. Ricky was frantically thumbing through a book, looking for "Something to better explain what's going on with you two." You and Chris occasionally glanced at each other. You finally conjured the courage to grab his hand and lace your fingers between his, making both of you smile softly. "Found it!" Ricky exclaimed, laying the text in front of the two of you. "Soul mates are identified by identical markings on 2 people, regardless of gender, religion, race..." Ricky read, pointing at your pumpkin mark. You shook your head and hid your arm as best as you could, tears prickled your eyes. "Soul mates are not real. They are made up figures of speech that give couples the false hope of staying together forever." You spat, venom dripping from your words. So harshly that Ricky physically recoiled, taking a major step back. "I understand you're scared. I was scared too when I met Jamie." You glanced at Chris, his soft smile made your heart shatter and rebuild all at once. Ricky nodded softly, striding out of the bus door and leaving you two alone. Chris pulled you into his chest, stroking your hair softly. "What is you name?" He asked softly, placing a kiss on your temple. "Y/n." You replied softly, relishing in the attention. You felt him smile against you're forehead, "Beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He replied softly before kissing your forehead. "My mark is under this tattoo." He said, pulling away to show you his beautiful throat tattoo. Feeling gutsy you leaned forward and placed a feather light kiss on the pumpkin. He smiled and caught your chin in his grip, "I believe." He whispered, leaning to kiss you. You hands instinctively braced themselves on his chest as his gripped your waist. "In us." You mumbled against his soft lips.
