A man cloaked in a dark purple suit stood in the darkness, plotting his evil schemes. There was a towering circular glass window in his lair, with which he would send his little minions to do his bidding. There was a fluttering of moth wings, but you could only hear it if you listened very closely. The moth's wings seemed to glow in the pale moonlight, which was shining through the window. Ordinary people would assume that it was just an abandoned room, but it was actually the lair of Paris's most evil nemesis, Hawk Moth.

Yes, it might be a silly name, but this man had incredible abilities. First off, he was an empath, he could sense other peoples emotions. He had the Moth Kwami which granted the user the ability to turn ordinary people into superhumans, villians or heroes. His minions, the moths, could latch on to any evil in a person, and expand upon it, any anger, any hate, even annoyance could be multiplied amd turn someone into a monster.

Hawk Moth was frustrated, he stamped his foot and threw the staff he was holding at the ground, disturbing some of the butterflies and sending them into different corners of the room.

"It's not working! My plans keep failing! I need more power!" He shouted, and then started to walk towards a pedestal, which held an exotic bracelet. He was about to touch the bracelet when Nooroo, a pale Kwami with moth wings popped out of nowhere and dashed in between him and the bracelet. The little moth Kwami advised, "Master! Don't touch that! The Dark Premethor Miraculous is the root of all evil! You can't handle that type of power without being consumed by it!" Hawk Moth twisted his features into anger and grabbed Nooroo by the wings, then he threw the little Kwami across the room and into the wall to his right, causing Nooroo gasp and clutch at his wings in pain.

Hawk Moth slipped off the Moth Miraculous and put on the Premethor Miraculous. Hawk Moth was instantly struck by a bolt of black lightning and a cloud of black sand covered him. Hawk Moth gasped and brought his hands to his neck, the next moment he had lost conciousness and was limp on the floor. A shadowy figure stepped out of the sandstorm, he was around the same size as Hawk Moth, but he was a mere shadow, a being made of darkness.

Nooroo's eyes widened in fear, and he stuttered, "Master? Where are you?"

A little Kwami popped out of the shadow, and he was laughing menacingly, he had long, sharp claws for arms, and had multiple feet. His name was Meniss, he was based after an animal that was in the future. After he calmed down, he disappeared into the shadow and talked through it, "Nice to see you again, Nooroo! You're playing the badguy this time around eh?" The dark figure shouted, his words echoed through Nooroo's head. Nooroo growled and replied, "You'll never get what you want! We'll never let you enslave humanity!"

Meniss popped out of the shadows again and burst into a fit of laughter, then he replied, "HAHA! You always were the serious one, weren't you? Don't worry! You'll be gone soon just like the others!" he dashed into the shadow figure and said, "But first, I need to handle a traitor!" The Shadow vanished into thin air, and then popped into existence right next to Nooroo, then it whispered,

"Plagg."

His words were like poison, reminding Nooroo of what had happened in the past, which sent shivers throughout his small body. Nooroo didn't have any time to recover when the Shadow stretched out his hand towards the window, getting ready to destroy it.

The next moment, a large whirlwind shattered the window, and a black mist covered everything, killing anything that was alive. Luckily, Nooroo had escaped with his Miraculous before the darkness had gotten to him, and he hastened to fly to Master Fu, The keeper of the Miraculous.

Master Fu was awoken by light taps on his bedroom window. He looked at the window and saw Nooroo panting and trembling all over. He quickly got out of bed and opened the window to let Nooroo in. Wayzz, a green Kwami with a turtle shell, popped out and assisted Master Fu in helping Nooroo calm down. After Wayzz and Fu got Nooroo to calm down, they asked him what was wrong. Nooroo told them in a low voice,

"Our future has caught up to us."
