"It's been three weeks. Three weeks that I've been missing. Three weeks since I've been constantly raped, drugged, even abused. Three...whole...weeks. I haven't heard anything on the news- which probably means the police wanted to keep this quiet. Or maybe nobody actually cares that I'm gone... maybe my family told the police to keep this quiet...maybe Kyle.."
"JOSEPH" I get pulled away from my thoughts as Nate tells my name.
"Y-yes?!" I respond quickly, in fear of what would happen if I didn't.
"Come here!" He yells.
I get out of the bed (yes, they have un-tied me and let me roam around freely. But only so they could boss me around and treat me like a slave)
I turn the corner and walk into the kitchen to find Nate and Chase both drunk and sprawled out in the chairs.
"We're hungry" Nate whines.
I stand there-not knowing what they want me to do. It's not like we have any food to cook.
"Come on. Let's go buy some food" Chase gets up and stumbles over to me.
I shudder away but he quickly grabs me and yanks me into his chest.
"I-I'm coming too?" I ask.
Chase nods as he grabs his wallet.
"Aye!" Nate yells back.
Chase and I turn around and Nate tosses Chase a hand pistol.
"Make sure he doesn't try any funny business. If he says anything to anyone-either cut him or kill him" Nate laughs as he grabs another beer.
Chase catches the pistol as he puts it in his jumper.
"Lets go!" Chase smiles as he shoves me out the door.
Even if I didn't say anything, it'd probably be easy to tell what type of situation I'm in due to all the bruises on my body. The bags under my eyes. At least I hope someone would notice.
In the hotel lobby, I notice the sign says "Welcome to Montana" and I start panicking.
They drove all the way from California to Montana! Dear god- I'm never going to be found.
As we leave-I quickly take in the scene. I look at every street sign I see. I think I recognize a few but the hotel sign said Montana..
"W-where are we?" I ask Chase.
"Why?" He asks, keeping a close distance behind me.
"I-i recognize these streets" I tell him.
"You should. You grew up here" he laughs.
Grew up here? I grew up in California.
BUT THE SIGN SAID MONTANA!
I'm literally losing my mind.
I try to look the people who we pass in the eyes but they are all either on their phones, or they just direct their gazes elsewhere.
We get to the nearest convenience store and Chase tells me what all to get as he hands me his wallet.
This is why I like shopping with Chase better. Ever since the second week started-they let me go to the store with them. But Nate always makes me wear blacked out sunglasses and makes me seem like a blind person.
Chase on the other hand- lets me roam freely. No sunglasses. He lets me walk off on my own.
Me and him both know that if I even tried to run or say something to someone-I'd be dead.
