Raindrops of Sorrow

54 3 4

Maybe it was just a coincidence

But the rain follows sorrow

Makes me think if they're actually tears...

Borrowing happiness from tomorrow

And I remember someone once said

"The more happiness you can expierence...

Keeps the sadness fed"

I might as well...

Fall in the rainsdrops' stead...

As I look up, into the peicing, grey sky

I watch the clouds cry

Then I realize...

That their lives...

Are just like mine

Everyone walks by...

Of course they notice my eyes

They know the raindrops falling are not tears from the sky

But they do nothing...

They leave me to cry

How lonely you must've felt

As you watched everyone smile

 While you...

You described it as vile...

They enjoyed your pain

They found it worth while...

They wanted you to cry...

So they could smile...

I...am the same...

I was one who smiled...

As I looked you in the eyes and said...

"I love the rain...now mama can't hear me crying..."

We bawled together...

Went insane forever...

It hurt to see them...

To watch them fall...

If only they knew...they would be ashamed...

Knowing you watched them...

Race your tears...

On a window pane...

The amount of times I have passed you by

And didn't try to silence the cries

I'm sorry my friend...

Please...let yourself shine...

I know now...my mistake...

As I cry lakes...

But together...my friend...

My friend that cried the Nile...

Together our raindrops...

Will make them all smile...

Now we cry together...

In the clouds where we lay

Nothing could be better...

Crying new oceans, watering the grass

To feed the kettle

Let them rejoice...

In what we made together

I understand how lonlely you are

Now...I feel, the sorrow of the fall...

In the horizon it looks just like a long hall...

The Sun's rays call...

The mist from our rain...

The headaches from bawling away...

In the end it's the same

My friend...

We made a rainbow...

We cried the pain away...

We made such beautiful colors

From our cold grey

Who could've thought...

Raindrops of Sorrow...

Are what wish away...

A Rainy Day...?
