"I'm fine..." is what I said
But my words had a twist
If you turn this upside-down...
You might see the scars on my wrists...
"Save me" is what I wanted to say
It's what I want to be...
But you took my words for granted...
You trusted me
I'm sorry I lied, just didn't want to see you worry...
Next time please...
Look at my shirt
That's when you'll see the faded water drops
And know...I'm hurt...
Next time please hug me tight as you can
I know I'm not what might be described as
"A Man"...
Please whisper in my ear
"I know you're not..."
"Damn it..."
I'll think...
"In my lie, I was caught..."
I'll drop to my knees as if I'm dead, as the ice in my eyes...
Starts to melt...
"Thank you for seeing...the pain I felt..."
