chapter three unlike everyone does

finn wolfhard sat on his roof, taking a long drag from his cigarette.

he thought of what happened yesterday, his soulmate came at the wrong time.

after what happened with her, finn discovered a new fear of his.

he feared love.

finn took another drag. and he saw another message from his so called partner.

finn ignored it. he didn't have time for a 'soulmate'. that bullshit is a waste of fucking time.

there's no such thing as a soulmate when they will hurt you, then leave. it's a cycle. and people leave all the time, without thinking about what others would feel. how they would be affected.

finn didn't even care to give a second chance. he saw what love really was with her. or did he?

he saw venom, poison, death, and agony in love. love hurts.

he told himself that he will keep all doors closed when it comes to love.

love was the worst thing that happened to finn wolfhard, and he wouldn't dare to replay what happened to him two years ago.

but love soon became the best thing that has ever happened to him.

finn sighed, and took another drag.

millie brown looked out of her window, her cheek on her left palm as she rested her elbow on the ledge, she hasn't erased the message on her arm. she frowned and her heart dropped when she saw lilia and maddie walking, laughing.

they didn't need me, after all.

lilia turned to her right noticing that they are in a very familiar street. and she was right, the blonde girl saw her 'ex-bestfriend', millie brown. lilia was kinda pissed off about what she said (yes, maddie told lilia as soon as that call ended).

"shit madds, look who's there," lilia whispered. "to your right." maddie turned her head, seeing the girl who she didn't want to talk to, but right as she was about to grab lilia's hand and storm out of there, she noticed something on millie's forearm.

maddie smirked, and dragged lilia to her house on the other street.

on there way, three houses left. they spot a boy smoking on his roof, but maddie noticed something, peculiar.

it was on his arm, it looked oddly familiar.
