chapter four soul-taking eyes
like any regular monday morning, millie lazily walked through the halls of hawkins high.
she had been writing to her soulmate since saturday, and obviously he didn't reply. but that doesn't mean she gave up.
maddie and lilia have been ignoring millie, which leaves her, alone.
she picks at her nails walking to her classroom, when she suddenly, falls to the floor.
"what the fuck!" millie's vision blurred as she blinked profusely, trying to make out what happened.
turns out, someone had hit her. a curly, jet-black, haired boy sat in front of her, holding his forehead with his right hand, his other holding him up.
and when he opened his eyes, millie swore her soul was taken away, just by staring deep into them.
"sorry." he says blankly, before brushing himself off and leaving. millie watched him leave, his hands in his pockets, stealing one last glance at her before heading to another hallway.
the bell rang and millie cursed to herself, almost tripping as she picked herself up, running as fast as she could to history period.
and once millie got there, everyone was staring at the flustered teen, whose hair was slightly messy, and her cheeks tinted pink.
"i'm so sorry, mrs. jones, this will not happen again." she panted.
"please take a seat millie."
millie awkwardly sat down on her seat at the far right back. "you look like hell, brown."
millie looked to her left. sadie sink. "thanks."
millie sat on her window again. she began thinking of why her soulmate would not respond to her. maybe he lived in a different country, and they had different time zones- actually, no. millie left those messages for two days straight. it's impossible that he wouldn't see it.
then she thought, maybe her writing was too small and he couldn't see it, or maybe he couldn't understand english, or maybe he just ignored her.
millie sighed, and grabbed a black marker, writing on her forearm.
'why are you ignoring me?'
finn was skateboarding, and noticed a new message. he stopped, and looked at his forearm. he laughed, shook his head and continued to skate.
millie grew angry. and decided to play a game with him.
the girl smirked, lifting her sleeve, and started to draw on her left bicep.
she laughed, throwing her head back.
it was a huge drawing of a dick.
'fucking answer me. or enjoy presenting my artistic masterpiece to the world.' millie wrote, a smiley face next to her cute little message.
finn arrived at his house, closing the door behind him. his mom at the kitchen, holding potatoes.
"hello, finn. dinner's almo- what is that?" she gestured to his left arm.
"what? what's what?" finn asked, knitting his brows together. "that! did-did you get a tattoo and not tell me?"
tattoo. shit.
finn took a peak under his sleeve, his mom not noticing. he gasped, and looked at his arm... that damn girl!
"s-sorry. i was trying some art stuff. it's not a tattoo, i'll wash it." finn mutters, not even letting his mom talk, as he sprinted up the staircase to his bathroom.
as finn got in, he locked the door. "no fucking way." it can't be what he think it is...
the boy lifted up his sleeve, and it revealed a huge penis, with a message.
finn rolled his eyes, he will not reply to her. he was fucking mad at this girl.
