On March 25, the Orthodox Church celebrates the feast of the Annunciation! We're officially nine months away from next Nativity, December 25 (in case you somehow forgot the date of Christmas)! But, in the year I am writing this (2018), March 25 falls on a Sunday; the fifth Sunday of Lent. And, on the fifth Sunday of Lent, St. Mary of Egypt is commemorated. So, let's learn about both!

Readings for the feast of the Annunciation:

Readings (for St. Mary of Egypt Sunday):

And videos (that talk about St. Mary's life!):
Blessed Lent to you all!
