First of all: thank you dreamsofreality04 for this amazing cover, I'm so pleased with it! Second of all: I hope you like this new chapter and I'll have a longer one waiting for you the next upload. Third of all, this is getting irritating *laughs awkwardly*: would you like more updates in a week? Since I already have the whole book finished that would be no problem, just tell me if that's something you'd like. And please give me feedback, comments, votes, and a bunch of love, you'll be getting in all right back ^^

Chapter 2

"Change of plans, sweetie. You're coming with us."

A scoff slipped my lips and I deeply sighed. "Why do you have to make things so difficult," I mumbled to myself but it didn't escape the ears of the men in front of me. They stepped closer, one placing a hand firmly on my shoulder, escorting me further out of the dead end.

"Just some hours left and then you'll be off our shoulders, look forward to a reunion in a blink of an ey-"

Before he could finish I halted to a stop, gripped his hand in mine, and spun around. With a twit in motion, I bend his arm until a loud yelp was heard in addition to the sweet sound of cracking bones. I wanted to continue the move and rotate his hand further but the other two forced me to change my focus onto them instead, so I dropped the man I was holding in an iron grip with a loud thud on the ground.

"You bitch!" He yelled in agony and cradled his hanging arm.

Now with the others on both of my sides, I quickly elbowed the one on my right as well as thrusting the sole of my foot towards the other guy's knee, making him stumble backward. My breath was now rigid and smokes of air came out in pants, meeting the cold breeze around us.

A quick but hard kick made its way to my abdomen which made me crouch before I could retaliate just as solid. The shortest man grunted while rubbing his hand on his stomach and I took one step towards him, raised my lead leg as high as I could, and brought it down on his face with the heel of my foot. He collapsed and laid down whimpering, trying to get up again, without success, holding his head with both hands.

I turned my body to the right and directly faced away from my next target, as well as pivoted on my left foot. My eyes looked at his own, that was all I could see sense the masks they all were wearing covered the rest of their faces.

My last kick was a whole lot stronger though soft whimpers could still be heard from both of them so I hadn't knocked them unconscious. Since I didn't wanna cause more chaos than necessary I was relatively pleased with myself.

Good. I always seem to surprise myself'.

I didn't want a vendetta against me for killing gang members. You could say whatever you'd like about those groups but their demand for respect made them support each other regardless of the group's size and even after their last breaths.

With slight pants leaving me I headed towards the guy I'd first elbowed since he seemed most awake. I tapped on his head calling out "You okay buddy?". As a response, I got a groan but not the answer that I wanted.

Okay, let's just get this over with'.

"I know who you work for and I also know what exactly you know about me." Lies floated naturally out of me and it couldn't have been more believable even if it was true. "So if you don't want a repeat on what just happened I suggest that you keep your intel to yourself 'cause God knows it's useless. Got that?"

He whined when I pulled his head off the ground and I pushed him down strongly when he didn't comment.

"Yeah, fine. I got it, okay! We weren't going to contact him anyways." Yeah, well, that's always the trick question. You never know if they're serious, at the same time you can't risk brushing them off. You just have to keep on playing 'til they believe you. I heard faint noises around me and decided that was my cue to leave before things got too messy.

"It was a pleasure doing business with you and your lads, take care of your wounds before it scars. May faith never let us meet again." I winked at the three men lying half-conscious and stood up, ready to finally go home.

'Well shit'.
