Once again I have no one but  strawhat_pirate to thank for this cover, I absolutely love it!

As I've mentioned before I post on Fridays, 'cause No post on Sundays... I literally do not have anything else to say about this... I just wanted to add that reference and didn't have a smooth way of doing it so Pardon my french.

This will be a longer chappie (screw the dictionary and it's meaning, this will be chapters nickname and that's it p.e.r.i.o.d.) so I hope you'll enjoy!

Chapter 6

Josiah's POV

"Found anything?" Emeka sounded highly curious when we saw Trey coming towards us in the school's backyard. Before he finished walking he calmly began saying the information we had asked about Rebekah.

"Sorry dude, not much." He frowned, cleared his throat, and continued.

"It's true that she was, from three months ago, away for two years but there's no record of any distance studies and to clarify, there's nothing at all, nada. All I found was that her parents were lawyers and she's our age, well obviously not yours" He nodded towards Emeka. "as we've already been told."

All of us were turning nineteen this year except for Emeka who's twenty. He was only in our year class 'cause he needed extra help with the academic parts when he moved to the U.S.

"They were? As in past tense, what happened?" Axton walked up to his boyfriend to check the papers he'd brought.

"According to their company, they were their biggest assets and usually got the top clients. Though about roughly two and a half years ago they were murdered. No evidence, no clues, her parent's case was dropped after about two months but Rebekah was given government protection another couple of weeks." Axton back hugged Trey loosely while continuing reading the notes over his shoulder and spoke up.

"And then nothing?" He nodded and sighed deeply.

'She's quite the mystery'.

"Who disables just like that?" Emeka shook his head and looked confused. And Axton hit his arm while laughing.

"Disappears you idiot! Take an English class, twat." We all knew Emeka's English capability and how him being all serious could make us burst out laughing. Coming from Cotonou in Benin probably wasn't the easiest. The reason why he had to step down a class his age.

"Hey! I've only been here for three years okay. Cut me some slack. Plus, it's not like you know any word of either french or Yoruba." Emeka gesticulated with his arms and went next to me to lean on the railing. "Stupid white people." He mumbled.

"Seven years to be specific, but same difference right?" I said and he grumbled something incoherent. "So there's no clue as to why they got killed, if they were well-known business people shouldn't it have been looked into more?"
