Being a vampire is hard, but what's harder is keeping a secret. Especially because I'm a 16 year old high school student who lives with my food! My family are all humans and might I add that they have no idea that I'm a vampire.
"Mom I'm going on a walk!" I shout as I grab my keys and walk out the door. I go on a "walk" every day. My "walk" pretty much stands for my feeding hour. I start to stroll through the streets looking as innocent as possible. As I reach the end of the street, I take a sharp turn into an alley and go into this office tiny office. Ive rented it out for the year to keep my food in so no one can hear the screams. I walk into the room with no expression on my face as I glare at her. When I'm hungry, I basically have no emotion, or heart as all of my past prisoners say. She stares back at me teary eyed while giving me a face of please let me go.
"Honey I'm sorry but i don't think you will be let go anytime soon" I look at her searching through her eyes to see any emotion.
"My family will find me!"
"Oh sweetie, I've been feeding off of you for weeks and no one has found you. Maybe you should think about your actions and not go out being a slut and cheating on your boyfriend" I pout
"Don't scream, don't move this will only hurt a little" I compel her
I sink my teeth deeply into her neck. The blood rushes into my mouth. The red liquid seeps down her neck.
"I can't stop" I thought
"You need to pull away"
"Another high school student can't die"
"What about her family?" All these thoughts come across me. But then I thought about it.
What if I turn my humanity off? Then I won't feel a thing. Then I feel weight as fall to the floor. I am pulled out of my thoughts as I back away looking down at the girls lifeless body. Guilt creeps over me.
"She didn't deserve that" I whisper
"Welp now I need another one" I sigh angrily
