"The hunters curse won't affect me"

I walk down the street looking for someone to snack on when I finally see someone. It's a 30ish male who has perfect health by the looks of it. All I can hear is his heart racing and his blood pumping. All sounds are downed out by his heart beating rapidly as he looks around uneasily. I walk quickly behind him waiting for the right money to sink my teeth into him. He goes to turn the corner and I take this chance to bite into his neck and rip it off. When I finish draining him, I rip off his head and throw it into the street not caring about the consequences. I start to stroll down the dimly lit street when I hear a gentle voice behind me.
"You made a big mistake sweetie" I whip my head around to come face to face with the same guy I killed.
"How are you alive?" I ask breathlessly
"I'm a vampire hunter and I'm going to make you suffer until you can't handle it anymore and die" he crosses his arms
"The hunters curse won't hurt me" I scoff and walk away
"That's what they all say"
