"Actually he's a girl"

I hand them all their waffles and they immediately start to dig in. I lean back on the counter and go on my phone sighing.
"Did you make yourself a waffle?" Jack raises his eyebrow while looking up from his plate
"I don't really have anything other than blood" I look down
"We have blood bags in the basement for you" Jonah shrugs looking up and pointing behind him
"Alright...thanks" I start to walk slowly
When I open the door to the basement, I look down into the dark cold room. I start heading down as the floor boards under me creek. When I get to the bottom of the stairs, I search through the darkness to find a light switch. When I do, I see the cooler in the back and vamp speed to it. I open the cooler swiftly and pick a bag up eyeing it closely. I then turn around and go racing back up the stairs after I turn the lights off. I stroll back to the kitchen while opening the cap and drinking the blood. I jump into a seat across from all the boys.
"Um, a friend of ours are coming over today." Daniel starts, looking up swiftly then back down
"Oh really?" I smirk
"Is he cute?" I lean forward
"Actually he's a girl" Jonah corrects
"Oh" I lean back in my chair disappointedly
