Bat ran through blaster fire into the Jedi records hall and looks around at all the guards and everyone else.

"It's time. The rest of the squad has fallen back to the hangar. You have to go." Bat says.

"We cannot leave this place. It's become sacred." Tallos tells Bat.

"Tallos, we've been over this. I know but we can't hang out here much longer. The empire will kill us all, the last of the Jedi, and still destroy this place." Bat tells him.

Tallos stops in his thoughts for a moment looking down at the ground then looks up at Bat.

"Sir...there's a secret passage in the back of the records hall leading to the cave the transports are in. Take it. It can only be sealed from this side though." Tallos says.

"Are you sure?" Bat asks.

"Yes. I'll do it." Tallos says.

"You don't have to." Bat tells him.

"Yes I do, brother. I've defended the Jedi for as long as I can and I failed to do that all those years ago then the clones marched on the temple with Vader....I won't run again...I'll defend the Jedi to my last breath." Tallos says.

They could hear imperials outside the records hall trying to get the doors open. It was only a matter of time before they busted the doors open.

"Lets hurry." Tallos says as they walk to the back the the records hall.

He sticks his hand out toward a now empty, shelf that once held old Jedi records and it starts to shake as it sinks into the wall and slides over toward the right, revealing a torch-lit passage way.

"Now go. Before it's too late." Tallos says.

"Thank you." Grand Master Baz tells Tallos and bows do him.

"Thank you Grand Master. It's been an honor." Tallos says and bows back.

The Bith Jedi Master nods as he turns and heads down the passage. Bat motions for Fernanda to head into it without him and he walks over to Tallos.

"It's been an honor, brother." Tallos says.

Bat nods.

"It has. Thank you." Bat says.

"Before we part ways forever....I want you to have this. I found it while on an expedition to Tython." Tallos tells Bat and hands him an ancient Jedi lightsaber. Bat grips it tightly in his hand and stares at it then looks up at Tallos and nods.

"Thank you." Bat tells him.

"No. Thank you." Tallos says and hears an explosion at the front of the record halls and turns.

"Go!" Tallos yells.

"Are you sure? I could-" Bat starts before Tallos ignites his lightsaber and starts sealing the passage off.

"No! Tallos! Tallos!" Bat yells and bangs on the walls as it's locked into place.

He sighs and turns around and slowly starts down the passage.

"Ah, a Jedi." Thrawn says as he looks at Tallos.

"You're too late, Grand Admiral." Tallos says as he brandishes his lightsaber and turns it in his hand, igniting the second blade and taking a stance, glaring at the Chiss through his mask.

As he did this, Stormtroopers were running into the record hall and surrounding the Jedi guardian. Tallos looks around as Ajax and Keaton join them with the Death Troopers and he slowly takes a few steps to turn around and watch them all.
