(another filler, 'pologies. Next chapter will also be by Marcus)

Rosie is selling the cafe. I admit, I've never liked her much but doing this must be like being stabbed in the back for Anna and Spencer. They've worked here since it opened 4 years ago and now Rosie was selling it without consulting them? I can only imagine the hatred stirring up inside of them right now.

"College fund?" Kenna suggests. We need to raise £200,000 to buy the cafe off Rosie so this guy called 'Alenxander McKenzie' can't buy it instead.

"I've got about 20p in mine, guys." Leo sighs.

"Guys, I've got 50k for university, so I can give 20k?" Anna suggests.

"Anna, that's your money so you can go to university, are you sure you want to do that?" Spencer asks, his eyebrows raised slightly.

"This coffee shop ranks a hell of a lot higher on my hierarchy than university." Anna replies curtly.

"I also have 50k, so I'll give 20 like Anna." Blaire sighs, looking over to Anna to see her reaction but her face stays emotionless.

"I can ask my parents..." I exclaim.

"What's so special about your parents, Mr Marcus?" Blaire asks, tilting her head to the left.

"They earn a lot, not 200k, but a lot. I know they've got an emergency savings account for me if I need money urgently, but I've no idea how much is in there."

"Marcus, you need to find out how much you've got in there quick, you could be our lifesaver!" Kenna explains  waving me away to check up on it. I drag Anna along with me to find my parents.

I walk through the door, sighing slightly and putting down my coat and keys on the telephone table. Kaela, my little sister, comes running up to Anna and pulls her into a tight hug. She is closely followed by my older sister Lilian who rolls her eyes and pulls a face at Anna and I.

"Hey, honey bun bun! Do you know where mummy and daddy are?" Anna coos at Kaela, pulling a bunch of strange and comical facial expressions.

"Banana, they're outside!" Kaela replies, glaring at me and pulling Anna outside by her arm.

"Hey, Anna, Marcus! Nice of you to join us!" My dad Caelan says, standing up and walking over to shake my hand. My mum, Noma, stays silent and smiles kindly at Anna.

"Was there something you wanted to talk to me about?" She asks, patting the seats next to her for us to sit on.

"Mum, dad, do you remember the emergency fund you have for me?"

"Yes, son." Dad pipes up, winking at mum and letting me speak.

"The coffee shop is being sold and we have a plan to buy it but we need £160,000 by the end of this week..." Anna sighs, looking from my mum to my dad and back to my mum.

"The coffee shop is closing?" My mum shrieks, her mouth opening and closing like a fish.

"Wait, 160k?" My dad sighs, holding his head in his hands.

"Yup." I reply, holding one of Anna's shoulders and squeezing it lightly.

"The fund has only 120k available... We'll give it to you anyway but..." My mum sighs.

"No worries, we can raise 40k at the shop, right?" I exclaim.

"Raise 40k?" Blaire screams. "How exactly are we planning to do that?"

"It'll be more like 39k after the weekly income..." Anna says happily.

"39k... Now... Fundraiser?" Kenna asks us all, and we nod,

"Fundraiser." I agree, and we all walk into the storeroom of the cafe to discuss this £39k fundraiser...
