(PLEASE PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE ANNACUS FEELS PLZ)

"I have a great idea..." Anna whispered, a sneaky smile creeping across her face.

"And what is that?" Spencer asks, crossing his arms and leaning forward.

"Zombie apocalypse." Anna smiles.

"WHAT?" Kenna screeches.

"You know, lots of people love the walking dead so why don't we do one of those 'Zombie Run' things?"

"You know what, that's actually a pretty good idea, Anna." Blaire sighs, shrugging her shoulders.

"Let's do this." Leo says.

*** LATER THAT WEEK ***

"How does that look?" Anna asks, applying the finishing touches to our zombie makeup.

"Creepy." Spencer shrugs.

"Think Clementine, think Lee, think Luke, think Kenny." Anna recites to herself. They were the main characters from the walking dead video game.

"You guys ready?" Dari, the event manager (and one of Rosie's close friends), asks.

"As ready as I'll ever be. How many zombies are there?" Blaire sighs, turning around and almost scaring the 'undead' daylights out of me.

"112, all your friends and teachers from college." Dari replies, turning her head and checking the paperwork. "31 tickets have been sold for £100 each but we're expecting more to turn up."

"Nice. That should get us to at least £3,100 into 39k." Leo says, counting the numbers on his hands.

"Make that 9k, the college and a bunch of Rosie's friends are donating too." Blaire butts in.

"Woah, they're donating that much?" Spencer exclaims and Anna nods.

"Yep. Those teachers turned out to be quite nice." I laugh.

As we left the room with all the other zombies, I grabbed Anna's hand and squeezed it. We were the only ones playing survivors, so we were forced -by Kenna of all sorts- into playing a married couple.

"Let's do this," she says, smiling at me and squeezing my hand back. She stretches her legs and hums a tune under her breath. I recognise it immediately to be her favourite song.

"And don't be told it can't be done, because the best all die young..." I hear her mumble.

"Yeah we all feel the same..." I join in, squeezing her hand even tighter.

"You know, this almost feels realistic..." She stammers.

"Even the married bit?" I laugh, fiddling with the fake ring on my finger that matched hers.

"You know, I wouldn't mind." She giggles, pulling me into a hug.

"Guys, get into position! We're releasing the survivors." Dari shouts, her voice resounding around the area. I grab Anna's hand and wink at her.

"Are you guys the survivors?" Anna says, running forward towards the newly released survivors.

"Sure we are." One of them - there were about 10 - shouts.

"We need your help. The herd is approaching and we're out of weapons... Do you guys have any?" I ask, and one passes me the spare axe.

"Thanks." Anna says, smiling at me and starting to lead the survivors away from the entrance.
