Hanna's POV...
                              "My dad died." Emily cried.
"Oh my god. Em I'm so sorry." I pulled her in for a hug and she sobbed into my shoulder. We stayed like that for what seemed hours. "So you said you don't want to go home. Why?" I asked her.
"Because everything there reminds me of him." She said.
"Okay well you can stay at mine for as long as you need." I said as I stroked her hair.
                              "I-I don't want to intrude..."
"No, no you're not, I promise. Caleb's spending the night anyway so he can sleep in the guest room and you can sleep next to me."
                              "Thanks, Han."
"Come on then Caleb can take us home."

                              Caleb's POV...
I could see Hanna and Emily walking towards me and Emily looked distraught.
"Em are you okay?" I asked her as I helped her into the car. She didn't say anything but Hanna sat in the back with her.
"Caleb can you drive to Emily's house so I can get some stuff. She's staying at my house." Hanna asked.
"Yeah of course." I said as I turned down Emilys street instead of continuing down the main road. As I pulled up to the house Hanna got out of the car and Emily stayed.
"Emily what's happened?" I asked her. I didn't feel like I was being rude because me and her have been close ever since the 'Lyndon James' incident.
"Um... my..." She began, clearly not knowing how to say it.
"It's fine you don't have to tell me." I told her. She and Hanna were quite similar in that way. Neither of them liked to be pushed into talking but they would when they're ready.
"No I want to. M-my dad... h-he's d-died." She stuttered.
"Emily, I'm so sorry. It might not seem like it right now but I promise you, it'll get better. Here..." I went into the glove compartment and grabbed a box of tissues and gave them to her.
"Thanks." She mumbled and with that Hanna got back into the car with a 'Rosewood High Sharks' duffel bag.
"Your mom packed it for you. She said she put some stuff that she thinks you'll need and the necessities." She said as she re-buckled her belt.
"Here Hanna let me put it on the spare seat." I said as I grabbed it and set it next to me.
"Wait no, I can't leave my mom alone..." She realised.
"Don't worry, Em, she's not alone. Your Aunt is in there with her. She said she doesn't mind where you stay she just wants you to feel safe." Hanna said as she rubbed her back.

                              General POV...
"Where's Emily?" Hanna asked Caleb as she walked into the kitchen. Her mom and Caleb were sat, eating.
"She went to bed. She said she wasn't hungry." Caleb replied.
"Well she needs to eat, Caleb!" Hanna snapped back.
"Hanna sweetie calm down. I tried to talk her out of not eating but she clearly just wants to sleep. She just wants space, honey." Ashley said.
"Fine then I'll talk to her."
                              Emily's POV...
I lay in Hanna's bed, sobbing. Thankfully, Hanna packed my favourite pyjamas so they made me feel a bit better. I heard a knock on the door.
"Emily? Can I come in?" It was Hanna. I kind of wanted to be left alone though.
"Sure." I said, quietly. She came in and sat on the edge of the bed.
"My mom said you want to be left alone so I'll sleep with Caleb, okay?" She said as she pulled the duvet over me further.
"Yeah. I bet that's a benefit for you too." I laughed weakly.
"No we won't be doing anything. Definitely not with my mom in the house." Hanna laughed too. "If you need anything at any time then just let me or my mom know. Or Caleb if your that desperate but you might have to throw something at him to wake him up."
"And your dating him because...?" We both laughed.
                              "Night Em. Love ya."
"Love you too." I replied as she walked out of the room.
                              Hanna's POV...
I made my way back down the stairs to the kitchen.
"She's sleeping." I half lied as I grabbed a plate of food and sat down. "Oh and I'm sleeping in the guest room with Caleb." I glanced over at Caleb and he was looking at my mom for a reaction.
                              "I don't think that's a good idea." She said.
                              "Why not?" I questioned.
"Because you're young and in love and--" She began.
"And my best friends dad has just died so I'm sorry to dissapoint you, mom, but I'm not sleeping on the couch and neithers Caleb." I argued.
"Fine honey but if I hear--"
"Mom!" I couldn't actually believe my ears.
