Caleb's POV...

"Hanna Marin... long time no see!" I heard a male voice say. Oh my actual God. When I suggested that ZACK was Jessie's fiance... I wasn't ACTUALLY convinced that he was. It was just a thought, but he clearly is. I could recognise that creeps voice a mile away; and that's not a good thing.

"Zack! What a nice surprise!" I heard Hanna say. Okay, Hanna, that was the shittiest lie I've literally EVER heard you tell. But I see your game, play it cool.

I slowly walked out into the hallway to see non other than Zack, supposedly Jessie, a woman in her early twenties with auburn hair and green eyes. She was holding Isla, a three month old who was surprisingly cute considering where she gets half her genetics from.

"Caleb, this is Jessie and her baby Isla... you already know Zack." She muttered the last part, "Jessie, this is my boyfriend Caleb." Hanna introduced us. I tried to put a genuine smile on my face that only Hanna could recognise was fake as fuck.

"Nice to meet you Jessie." I said and shook her free hand, all the while staring down the pervert to the left of her.

"Caleb! How nice is it to see you again!" Zack exclaimed. Yeah, it's so freaking nice. I missed you hitting on my girlfriend most of all.

"Yeah. You too." I said in a very monotone voice.

"Right, well, come in!" Hanna said. She guided the three into the living room and I closed the front door. If I were you, Hanna, I'd slam that door right in their faces. "I'll go get us some drinks." She said. I waited by the door for Hanna to pass. When she did, I pulled her into the kitchen,

"Hanna, why the hell did you let them in?!" I whispered.

"Well I couldn't have just slammed the door in their faces! Something my mom taught me called bad manners."

"I think he lost the right to earn good hospitality about a year ago."

"Exactly, Caleb, a year ago. He might have changed. I've changed. So who's to say he hasn't?" She reasoned. Whatever Hanna, your call. "Listen, can we just give him a chance? Jessie is one of the nicest people I've ever met and she trusts him, then we can at least try. And I know you like to go all 'alpha-male' and all but just chill, okay?"

"I am completely chill. Look at me." I gestured towards my face, "Completely and utterly chill."

"Yeah, yeah, is that why you look like you're taking a shit?" She said and walked back into the living room with three coffees in hand. This is gonna' be a long day. I thought.

Hanna's POV...

2 hours later...

Sitting on the sofa, Caleb and I were sat next to each other with Zack and Jessie each on one of the single chairs and Isla was sleeping in Jessie's arms. I was actually quite surprised with how adorable Isla was, considering who her father is. Sitting closer to me than usual, I could easily tell that Caleb was attempting to mark everyone's - with 'everyone's' being Zack's - territories. I can't blame him though; if I were him I'd most likely be doing the exact same thing. Apart from the fact that I'd be on top of him but I guess he's not that far off, right?

"So, Hanna, where's your mom?" Zack asked after I finished a conversation with Jessie about new Mac makeup that's recently come out.

"Oh, she's out on a business trip to New York." I smiled, trying to hide the fact that every time he speaks I get shivers down my spine.

"Does she know we're here?" He then asked. Why is that so important to you?

"Yeah, I to-" I began.
