A/N: Will include a lot of Haleb, and a small bit of Tanna and Spaleb. But I promise it's only friendly. I hate Marlene for Spaleb but I guess I should portray their great 'friendship' in this book :) BTW, the beginning of this is still at the dance and the rest is something else; you'll see ;) Enjoy xo
Hanna's POV...
The slow music quitened down and the same voice from earlier came out of the speakers. I pulled away from Caleb and he kept his arm around my waist. Everyone paid attention to the voice.
"Alright Rosewood High, prepare for your 'Dark Dance' King and Queen!" Everyone started cheering and I looked at Caleb.
"You've so got this." I whispered in his ear. He just smirked at me and the voice continued.
"Ladies and Gentleman, you all look stunning tonight so good luck to all of you! The 'Dark Dance' King crown goes to..." A drumroll began. "Mr. Toby Cavanaugh!" I looked over at Spencer who was ecstatic and Toby looked devastated. He's definitely the type of guy who prefers to stay under the radar. We all applauded him as the previous King gave him his crown. He was bright red in the face and I thought he looked hilarious but handsome at the same time. Spencer came and stood next to me and Caleb. "And the 'Dark Dance' Queen goes to..." The drumroll continued and Caleb squeezed my shoulder, "Miss Hanna Marin!" I was so shocked. Why would anyone vote for me? I walked up to the stage and, giving me a dirty look which I gladly returned, Vanessa Woodler placed her tiara on my head as I went and stood next to Toby.
"Thank God it's you. I didn't want to be dancing with Bridget Woo." He whispered as everyone clapped. I laughed at him as the last song began to play. I was a bit annoyed because the vice principle said that the previous song was the last one and I was happy to spend it with Caleb. But Toby would be my second choice anyway so I guess it didn't really matter.
Caleb's POV...
Hanna looked so gorgeous up on the stage. I'm sort of happy it's Toby up there with her and not that Jacob dude.
"And then there were two." Spencer laughed. "I guess we should dance instead of standing here like loners." She was clearly a bit tipsy. Where she got the alcohol from, I have no idea.
"Shall we?" I held up my left arm for her to take hold of.
"We shall." She giggled and took hold of it.
Hanna's POV...
"Is Caleb doing anything for his birthday?" Toby asked me as we were dancing.
"He specifically said he doesn't want a party. Not after last year's chaos."
"He appreciated the thought." Toby chuckled.
"But I want to do something really memorable. Good memorable, not 'my girlfriend nearly drowned' memorable." I brain stormed in my head.
"With just you two or everyone?" He asked.
"I think everyone and then later on it'll be just us. Maybe just like a meal with the eight of us?"
"Eight of us being?"
"Caleb, you, me, Spence, Aria, Emily, Alison and Ezra. Maybe. Ezra is a bit of an awkward situation."
"Tell me about it. Spencer and I were debating whether it was appropriate to invite him to the Christmas dinner or not." He realised.
"You still did though."
"Yeah. Spencer won that one."
"She always does." We both laughed until we heard a familiar voice. Toby and I turned around, shocked.
"What's so funny you two?" It was Caleb who was stood dancing with Spencer right next to us.
"Nothing." We said in unison. "Anyway back off you two give this lovely Queen some space." Toby said, clearly trying to wind up Caleb. And it was working but I could see he was pretending he didn't mind.
"Shut up mate." He joked back.

Finally the Dance event had finished and the crowd began to exit the building. Toby had already left with Spencer, clearly trying to get out of the spotlight as soon as possible but Caleb and I were in the corridor that no one goes in. We both found Spencer's vodka stash and we helped ourselves to some.
"What're we doing in here." I whispered as Caleb pulled me down to a small corner.
"I can't wait until we're at your house." He said as I leant against the cold wall.
"Can't wait for what?" I asked, genuinely confused.
"To kiss you." He clarified. He walked closer to me.
"Oh babe, you can kiss me whenever you want. It doesn't have to be in private." I giggled.
"It does if it's like this." And with that he slammed his lips into mine which definitely shocked me, but I certainly wasn't complaining. I kissed back, hard and passionately. I felt him smile against my mouth as he held me close to him.
We must have been making out for a good few minutes before we heard footsteps coming from the other end of the corridor. We immediately pulled away from each other, both with 'oh shit' looks on our faces. Before I could comprehend what on earth to do, Caleb was already pulling me into the janitors closet.
"Caleb! You could have taken me into any other room! The only person who stays this late is a janitor. And we're in the janitors closet!" I whispered and yelled.
"I can't be smart all the time." He said as we hid behind the bin. The bin. Of all places. And with that the janitor entered the room and placed a wet mop behind the bin.
"Ow!" Hanna yelled. "You douche!" I said as she stood up, clutching my head in my hand and tripping slightly over Caleb. All he did was laugh in amusement but the janitor clearly didn't find it funny.
A/N: Short chapter but I promise the next will be up very soon :)
