It's noon and I made it through the night. Though, it wasn't a pleasant one. There was screaming. Ugh, horrible, terrifying screaming that would put any horror movie actor to shame. They were the screams of children.

My eyes wander to the shelf full of stuffed toys from birthdays, holidays, gifts from relationships that have all ended sooner or later. The toys are all turned to face me. 'Were they always like that? Probably not, but who cares?' Even as I think this, it still unnerves me. The way their black button or glassy eyes stare with no emotion, no life. Then I think about those screams.
The pain in those screams was far too real. The mumblings of some man were there too. In all of the jumbled chaos of the screams, there was the low rumble of a voice. It sounded like a man-
