I draw closer to the little person curled up on the floor. Their back is on the wall of the kitchen and their face is covered with their hands and tears. I could hear light huffs and sniffles as they sob.

I do wish my boots didn't click on the tile floor but I guess it can't be helped with this dead weight I'm carrying. Even though my boots are making this clicking sound, however, my little friend won't look up, they won't even acknowledge me! That just won't do!

The woman, maybe around her thirties or late twenties, struggles against my grasp but to no avail. This surprise will show (Y/N) how much they mean to me and how far I'll go just to make sure no one will come between us. The woman's eyes are pink and puffy from tears but she can't say anything yet, it'll ruin the surprise if she screams! That's why my hand is on her mouth.

Finally, I'm right in front of (Y/N), but they're still not looking up! If they noticed my presence, they're too caught up in their tears to process the danger. Dissatisfied, I grip the woman by her neck tightly then hang her in front of (Y/N) with her feet hanging a few centimeters off of the ground, at this point the woman has only a little strength to continue to claw at my hand while she's being basically choked out.

I'm getting tired, no, irritated of being ignored like this so I grip the woman by her hair instead, allowing her to speak. She breathes deeply and rapidly first then she screams for (Y/N) to run away between her grunts and squeals of pain.

(Y/N) jumps from the high pitched screams and, finally, looks up to see me, their loyal and faithful best friend! Their eyes widen in shock and fear as they try to process the scene before them.
