Scott lounged across the couch and I sat on the floor, my back pressing into the couch. He stroked my hair gently. The house was quiet. I didn't know what brought on this uncomfortable silence. Mitch called earlier to ask Scott where he was. They needed to film the Superfruit video today. It was after 7, but Mitch insisted on at least getting part of drafting done.

Scott didn't want to get up, but his phone was still pressed to his ear. Mitch was yelling now. "If you need to go then you can. I'll be okay."

"Come with me," he said softly. "Ask him. If its not okay with him then I won't."

"Can Chelsea come?"

"We'll be there soon. See you!" He pushed himself up off the couch and adjusted his shirt. He was in his casual clothing again, while I was still in the dress. He pulled me to my feet and walked with me to the door.

He opened the car door for me and closed it when I was in. The sun was going down as he got into the driver's seat. He began to drive towards his house and a slow song came on the radio, which was playing softly. I held my arm out of the window and felt the cool breeze whip across my skin. It ran through my obsidian colored hair and touseled it.

Scott watched me with a small smile on his face as he pulled into the driveway. We got out of the car and walked hand in hand to the doorstep. Scott walked right in and gestured towards the couches. "I'll be right back." I lounged on the couch and looked around the room. Albums were tucked away in a compartment above the TV. It was huge and they even had some of their own albums.

I stood up and looked at them. Various genres were on the shelf. I thumbed through them and stepped away to look at the frames around the house.

A younger version of Scott hugging Mitch with Kirstie between them. A much more recent photo of Scott and Mitch just hanging out.

I saw a photo of Scott and Mickey and I frowned. I stroked my finger over Scott's face gently, but wished I could scratch Mickey's face out of the picture. I only put it back and pressed the frame onto the cool marble it was resting on. I placed the stand down onto the back of the wooden frame and looked at the rest of the pictures. There was one with the whole band that made me smile.

It was from the day they shot Can't Hold Us. Everyone was dressed in their own attire according to their part of the song. Kirstie was in her stunning American Flag dress and Kevin looked snazzy in his tuxedo. I giggled quietly and moved on. The rest of the photos were normal, band or just of friends.

Scott came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Shouldn't you be talking with Mitch about Superfruit?"

"I'd rather be here with you," he whispered into my ear. "Right, go hang out with Mitch. He needs your help."

"Not really. I'm supposed to be playing the piano soon. We're doing another evolution."

"For Pentatonix?"

"No, for Superfruit." I nodded and leaned back into him. Scott kissed my neck and jaw. We heard the shudder of a camera go off. Scott turned around quickly and I fell back onto the carpet. "Oh my god!" Mitch yelled. Scott laughed and pulled me up. I pushed my dress back into place and caught Mitch with a camera. "All I did was take a picture!" he insisted. I smirked and Scott began laughing again. Mitch showed me the picture. My body was hidden by Scott's, but my black hair was visible.

"They'll just think it is you two," I laughed. Scott tucked me into his side. "I guess I should be getting you home so I can get to work on the music."

"I can watch you, it's really no trouble."

"Maybe another time." He kissed my cheek and smiled. Mitch threw a pillow at us, hitting me in the face. "Ugh, get a room!" He then dashed away. "Excuse me." Scott grabbed the pillow and ran after Mitch.
