Time Travel ~ Aurora's P.O.V. (4)

Aurora and Draco walked outside the castle to walk to Hogsmeade. 

"Are you okay? You seem awfully quiet." Aurora pointed out, looking at Draco as they walked side by side.

"It's nothing." Draco answered, staring off into the snowy village landscape.

"You're daydreaming, aren't you?" Aurora asked. Draco's face shown amusement.

"How could you know?" 

"You daydream about things all the time. The older you daydreamed a lot, but you seem to daydream as much as well." Aurora explained.

"You seem to know an awful lot about me,  Aurora." Draco said.

"Well, when I was young, you spent a lot of time with me. A bit more time than my mum." Aurora explained, "Mum always told me you wanted a daughter after you had Sc-- I mean a son." 

Draco put on his 'not bad' face and they continued walking through the village for a few minutes. 

"Do you want to go anywhere?" Draco asked, breaking the silence.

"Probably Honeydukes  and Three Broomsticks. The older you sent me a letter asking me to try those stores." Aurora answered. 

"Sounds like something I would do. The butterbeer is significantly delicious this year." 

"That's what you put in the letter."

"Really?"

"Yes, I'll show it to you when we get back to your dorm."

Draco and Aurora first went to Honeydukes and picked up some sweets such as Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans. They paid for the candy and went to Three Broomsticks and sat on the high chairs facing the window, waiting for their butterbeers.

"So," Draco said, starting a conversation, "what is it like, where you live?"

"It's pretty calm. It's just the four of us, me, you, my brother, and mum. We don't have any house elves or servants. We do all the chores ourselves. It is quite enjoyable." Aurora described.

"No house elves?" 

"Yes, you and mum decided not to have any house elves considering what will happen in a few years. I can't tell you what happened at that time." 

"Oh. I'm guessing it will be a huge and significant spoiler?" 

"Yes. I can't get further into detail."

"How come you and Scorpius look so much alike? It's just something I noticed." Draco asked as a waitress placed two mugs of butterbeer in front. 

Aurora took a sip and melted over how good it was then set her mug down.

"Maybe I'll answer that question by the end of my stay." Aurora answered. 

"You're very hard to convince." 

"Yes, I got that from you."

"Seriously, you have to tell me at least one thing about my future right now." Draco pleaded.

Aurora looked at him, placing her mug down then wiping off the foam from her top lip.

"Fine, my brother is here at Hogwarts with your wife. I can't tell you who yet, but just so you know, you already spoke to him." 

"I spoke with hundreds of sons of my friends that are girls."

"I know. It just makes it harder to guess."

"You're really good at staying mysterious and you give riddles that nobody could crack."

"I know. I got that from my mum. There's your next clue."
