Ah, November 22nd, Chenle's favourite day of the year! It was that time of year where everything was about Chenle and Chenle only. He tried to claim the whole month to himself before but Mark scolded him and told him that instead, they could always do and get whatever Chenle wanted (which Renjun and protested about, shouting about how the younger was rich and how he didn't need anything off of them). After a bit of convincing from Jaemin, he managed to agree and demanded that he should have a dorm room makeover. Surprisingly, they all actually contributed and ended up making Chenle cry tears of joy and gratefulness. This year however, it was going to be bigger and better!

"So, it's November 20th," Chenle broke the silence at their table in the café, which he had only recently discovered was owned by Jisung's cousin, Taeil. Ever since he had found out the youngest two were 'dating', he's been giving Chenle free drinks and cakes whenever he stopped by. Jisung had thrown a fit after finding this out however, finding it weird that his cousin gave his 'boyfriend' special treatment but not him.

("Taeil! That's so unfair, I'm actually related to you and you give me nothing for free! I tried to take a muffin yesterday and you said that you would slap me all the way back to 2002."

"That's because Chenle is cute unlike you, brat. Go bother Taeyong and steal his tattoo shit instead."

"What? I'm so cute! I'm the embodiment of adorable."

"You looked like Rufus from Kim Possible.")

The table collectively groaned, all except Jisung. The youngest boy knew that it was Chenle's birthday in two days, but he didn't know how extravagant he always wanted his gifts or birthday to be. "Oh, worm?" Jaemin rolled his eyes and leaned back against the sofa, slinging his arm over Renjun's shoulder with Jeno the opposite side of the Chinese male.

"Oh yeah! It's your birthday in two days, you haven't even told me what you want."

"Yeah, last year you told us three months prior what we had to get you," Donghyuck snorted and gulped down the rest of his drink, then slammed the now empty cup on the table. "What are you planning this time with just two days to spare?"

"Something affordable, Chenle. Don't forget, we're all broke ass college students who can barely afford to get a pot noodle," Mark grumbled but smiled when Donghyuck cuddled into his side, forcing the elder's hand onto his head and making him play with his hair. Jisung shifted uncomfortably, why weren't he and Chenle acting like that? Sure, they weren't actually dating but they were trying to convince their friends otherwise, right? Mark and Donghyuck weren't even dating for that long, yet they still seemed to be more affectionate than them.

Chenle seemed to notice the panicked look on Jisung's face as he watched his friends acting all 'lovey-dovey' and instead of doing something rather noticeable to their friends, he decided to intertwine their hands. Jisung snapped his head around faster than you could say his name and a slight blush enlightened his cheeks. He shyly looked down at his lap before pulling the Chinese boy closer to him so that their thighs were touching. Chenle turned to look at Jisung, but the younger was already staring at him. Jisung cleared his throat before turning back to their friends, only to notice that both Jaemin and Donghyuck were smirking.

"This year, no presents! Instead, I want you to throw the biggest party of the year for my birthday. You have two days to plan it and make sure everyone on the campus shows us!" Chenle announced to divert their friends' attention from them and back into the topic at hand. Jaemin simply shook his head in amusement before giving Donghyuck the same look.
