It all happened with an attack on the Castle of Lions. Lance couldn't sleep like normal. He decided to go down to the training room because might as well try to be useful. He had been practicing with an Altean sword he picked up from the weapons display for weeks, trying to become more than a 7th wheel. After hours in the training room the alarms started blaring, scaring Lance out of his thoughts. He ran to the observation deck to see everyone else already there.
" Paladins a Galra fleet is attacking th castle you must hurry and get to your lions!" Allura said.
Lance rushed to his lion, piloting it out of its hanger toward the fleet of Galra. He used blue's jawblades to slice through several fighter ships. Using blue to freeze the ships and destroy them. Over the coms you could hear the struggle of the other palidins. Out of no where five more fleets appeared in front of him.
"shit....."
"IM BEING OVERWELMED!" screamed pidge.
"WE NEED TO FROM VOLTRON" says Shiro
Lance tried mmaking his way over to the other, taking out ships on his way. all the paladins were fighing hard but they were making ni progress in this battle.
"FORM VOLTRON" Shiro yelled over the coms.
Lance felt the normal exciting energy of voltron coming together. Voltron cut threw half the fleet with its sword. Pidge used the shield to block the lasers shooting at them but there was to many. Out of one of the ships a robeast appeared.
"Great now we have another problem" said Hunk.
The robeast started shooting at them with a full rack of lasers on its chest, a sword in its hand. Lance noticed that most of the shots where towards him. "What is going on" he thought just as three more shots hit Volton. The robeast swings its sword and diconnects lance from Voltron.
"LANCE......" his teamates shout.
Lance's head his the controls and is thrown back against the chair. His vision start to blacken and he feels dizzy. The last thing he hear was keiths voice saying " Hold on lance we are coming." then his vision goes black and he cant hear anymore.
