I decided to live with Ray after that day. It was like we were young again. I sat on the couch and he sat on the floor playing video games.
The room is dark but lights up to the tune of his video game.
He's focused, still but his thumbs move rapidly.
And me.
I can't focus.
I mean Do I want to get back together with him?
Im unsure while he's.....so sure.
I glance at him again.
He never really did me wrong before.
Now I'm guilty.
I punished him for the crime of another man.
Yet he still wants to be with me.
And I think I want to be with him.
Im just scared.
Eventhough I shouldn't be afraid.
"What you writing?", said Ray pausing his game.
"My thoughts, a poem...", I said.
"Oh, like back in the day?", he said sitting next to me.
"Yeah",I smiled.
"Let me read!", he snatched the book.
"Stop! No! Don't read it!", I yelled.
I followed him around the room trying to take the book back. After a while we came to a stop.....he had finished reading the poem I wrote.
We came to a stop and he grabbed my waist smiling.
"What?", I asked.
"Nothing!", he said looking into my eyes.
He leaned down and sweetly kissed me. I kissed him back and stared at him.
"Baby. I liked your poem.", he whispered.
"Baby?", I questioned.
"You saying you dont want to be my girl?", he asked.
"No. I do.",I said back.
"Then it's settled. Yours mines.", he kissed me again.
My phone buzzed in my pocket and it showed Tammys name. I looked at the text and she wanted to go to the club.
"I'm going to the club", I said.
"I'm coming!", he yelled after me.
We were at the club and was just now walking in.
"This my song!", Tammy shrieked.
She grabbed my arm and pulled me on the dance floor.
"Tammy youre not getting a twerk if thats what you thought!", I yelled over the music.
"I'll just watch you then!", she yelled over the music.
I rolled my eyes as 2 on by Tinashe blasted through the speakers.
"Oh yeah I got to tell you something!", we yelled at the same time.
"You go first!", Tammy yelled.
"Me and your brother back together!", I yelled.
"Awn. So cute! Ok dont sweat when I say this but Chres is coming here tomorrow.", she yelled.
"Ew.", I made a face.
"Didnt I tell you not to sweat it!",she yelled.
I didnt say anything then Twerk it came on.
"Twerk with me!", she smiled.
I started twerking with her then strangers came up behind us.
"Nigga back up!", Ray cut in.
He held my waist as I twerked on his then he spun me around. We were face to face and he pulled me to him.
"Hehe",I chucked.
He grabbed my butt then bit my neck. I gasped. Then I smiled and looked up at him.
This is so my night!
