       ~Len x Strange Dark~

"How the HELL did I get a lousy?!" Len yelled as he threw his PS3 controller down on his bed. He had been trying forever to clear Paradichlorobenzene on extreme. He sighed as he picked up his controller and selected 'retry', "One more time... if I can't clear it, I'll stop trying..."

*********15 tries later********

"I quit! This is impossible!" Len fell back onto his pillow. Wondering what time it was, he turned over to look at his digital clock, 'How is it already two in the morning?', he thought. He rubbed his eyes and decided to go downstairs to get something to drink.

When he made it to the kitchen, he noticed that the lights in the living room were on. Len walked into the living room and flicked the switch to tun the lights off. "Do you mind turning the lights back on? It's kinda hard to see what buttons to press...", Len jumpped, startled by the voice of whoever it was in the living room. "Um... okay..." he turned the lights on and saw Dark sitting on the couch holding his Vita. "Dark? What are you doing up so late?"

"I could ask you the same thing... but to answer your question, I'm trying to beat my high scores on the new Project Diva..."

"That's what I've been trying to do for the past 3 hours... you know, it's funny that I can't even clear my own song on extreme..."

"Really? Which one?"

".....Paradichlorobenzene..."

"Huh... that one's pretty easy for me..."

"Well you are the module used in the song..."

"I can try to clear it for you. I mean, if you want me to..."

"Really?" Len asked hoping that Dark was serious. The green-eyed boy nodded, "Yes, really...", he stood up and started walking twards the stairs. "Where are you going?" Len asked a bit confused. "Well, I was going to help you clear that song..." Dark said as he began to make his way up the stairs. Len ran to catch up with him and almost falling in the process.

When they entered Len's room, they both took a steat on the floor in front of the TV. Len watched as Dark effortlessly hit each note perfectly. He then realized just how good Dark was at this game, 'He must have practiced a lot... I can't even clear anything on extreme without a help item! I wish I could play that well...', when he broke himself away from his thoughts, he looked to the TV just in time to see the word 'Perfect' as the clear grade. "How are you that good? I can't even get a perfect on easy!", Len looked over at Dark to see the smaller blond frown, "Well... I don't have many friends, and I hardly ever go out... so I play video games to keep myself occupied... and after a while, I guess I just started to get good at it...". Len draped his arm over Dark's shoulders, "I'm your friend, right? I would take playing video games over going out any day! We can be those two nerdy guys who stay in to play games all day and talk about various random stuff!"

Dark giggled, "That sounds kinda fun... and yes, you are my friend..." he was trying his best not to blush at their current position. Len smiled at him before removing his arm from it's place around Dark's shoulders, "Okay then, let's start with the talking about random stuff thing.... and as girly as it seems... why don't we talk about who it is that we like... as in a more than a friend way.... we can make a game out of it! Like, you describe this person and I try to guess who it is!"

"Th-that's fine..."

"Okay then... guy or girl?"

"U-um... g-guy..."

"What is his personality like?"

"He's funny and really sweet... he always tries to make everyone smile... he's... the most amazing person I've ever met..."

"What does he look like?"

"He's a little taller than I am, he's blonde and has blue eyes... "

"Hmmm... is this person Star Mine?"

"Nope"

"Blue?"

"Still no... I'll give you another try..."

"Um.... is it Punkish?"

"Nope!"

"Give me another try! Please?"

"Okay..."

"Jersey?"

"No"

"Asymmetry?"

"Still no"

"Council?"

"No... you have one more try and if you don't get it right it's my turn..."

"Okay then... is it Energy?"

"Nope!"

Len sighed, he had to be close... not many of his modules fit the description Dark had given him. "Okay Len, guy or girl?"

"Guy..."

"What is this guy's personality?"

"He's smart and is really shy around some people... and he is definitely the cutest person ever!"

"...What does he look like?"

"He's shorter than I am, he has green eyes and he's blonde.... and he is often mistaken for me..."

Dark blushed when Len said the last part, 'There's only three people I know of that fit the description...'

"Well? Aren't you gonna guess?"

"Y-yeah... I-I was just t-thinking... is it Kotetsu?

"Nope! You have one more try!"

"I-is it Tsuru?"

"...No... how about this... you tell me who you like and I will tell you who it is that I like!"

Dark was sure his face was completely red at this point. 'What if I tell him and it turns out it's not me he likes? He'll hate me!', he felt like crying at the thought of Len hating him. He took a deep breath, "....I-I-It's....y-you...", he looked down to the floor as he waited nervously for a reply. "Dark?"

He looked up, "W-wh-", Len pressed his lips against Dark's. He was surprised at first, but he then started to kiss back. They broke the kiss a few seconds later and stared into eachother's eyes. Len placed his hand on Dark's cheek before they kissed again. When they pulled away, Dark yawned. "Look's like someone's getting sleepy..." Len said before he yawned and looked at his clock. "It's already three thirty... did you want to sleep here tonight?", Len said as he turned the TV and game system off. Dark nodded and leaned over on Len's shoulder. He smiled and picked the shorter boy and carried him over to the bed. He then laid down next to him before pulling the covers over them. "Good night Len... I love you..." Dark said through a yawn. "Love you too Dark, sweet dreams..." Len wrapped his arm around Dark's waist, causing said boy to move closer to him. He smiled and kissed Dark's forehead before they both started to drift off to sleep.

A/N:

I wrote this like a month ago... I really should have posted this earlier...

I have not been able to sleep since I came home from our trip to Birmingham, Alabama... we stayed up untill like 4 or 5 in the morning the first night and didn't go to bed at all on the second... that screwed my sleep schedule up...

Changing the subject... does anyone else have trouble with extreme songs on Project Diva F and F 2nd?? I can clear Dye, Hm? Ah, yes, and Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku without any help items... 

I feel like I'm the only one who can't clear songs on extreme...  >~< 

Anyway... thanks for reading and waiting for me to update!! I really appreciate it!!
